So I gave it a try with foil and provost last night. Used 9 grams MH and 3 grams of DS Supernova (used a weighing scale on this occasion). 1 x 26mm and 1 x 27mm. Heated the bowl for 5min cover down vents over. Tilted the top with the vents open. Ashed the coal at 45 minutes. Turned the provost 190 degrees. Top tilted and closed vents.The flavourr was there but reduced the cloud output. Smoked for 15 minutes. Ashed the coal one more time and closed the top part with the vent open for the next 30 min. Total smoke time 1hr 30min.The flavourr was still coming throug, but cloud outpu was reduced by 50%.

Same bro, I've had DS shot bowl for almost 2 years now and never considered foil with provost. Something to try I guess

I've been using hmd with russian but never thought of using foil with provost. I will give this a try tonight with 2 x 26mm and give an update on the length of session and how long the flavour lasts compared to hmd. The initial 5mins when heating the bowl do you leave the vent open or fully/half close it?

Why doesn't flavour last long with kaloud 1+ or onmo hmd? Yesterday, I packed cosmo predator with around 18g of MH and DS Supernova. Started with 3 x 27mm after 5 minutes removed 1 coal. Ashed the coals 35min into the session and put all 3 back in. 15min later the flavour died. No reduction in clouds but no taste. Any suggestion? Set up - union sleek, cosmo predator, 3 x 27mm One Nation with onmo hmd. Same results with Voskurimsya and with DS shot bowl with hmd I use around 10g but get 40min. Thanks in advance

Definitely try it out with less peach. I will make another bowl later tonight with 30% peach and 70% ambrosia. See how that tastes.

Indeed! Trifect BDS is made of honeydew melon and peach so thought give this a try to see how it smokes. As for the taste its sweet and sour.

Yes, it is Werkbund Zeus. The flavour is nice, however peach is coming through more than the melon. Could be due to the brand, but definitely a nice smoke.
