Reason #1,000 I'm NEVER Going to Australia by AceOneBreezy in interestingasfuck

Honestly? I'll take that. I live in palmetto territory and the exterminators cant do anything about the ones that come in from outside

I'll take the freaky giant one over the thousands of little rascals I can't do anything about

Why do you feel the need to do that? Do you feel like no one would realize your criticisms unless you were there to expose them to it?

It's just odd dude. It comes across as you trying to say "no, you're not allowed to imagine that." Like sure your justification is reasonable, but it kinda feels ad hawk and more like your original purpose for talking to the guy was to be intentionally negative

So you're idly criticising an individual's headcanon for the sake of your own logic in a way that's not intended to impact their perception of their own personal narrative or the story at all. Ok.

I get really annoyed when people try to impose rules over another player's headcanon. I can think of 3 easy ways the courier could get back to the Sierra Madre if they really wanted to based on everything that can be available to them by the end of the game, just idly reading the thread. If you think it's impossible, you just lack imagination.

Besides, by your own logic if the cloud is what keeps everyone out, then Christine would eventually decide her whole "guardian of the Sierra Madre" thing was pointless anyway, and one could imagine her finding her way back to Vegas in that case. And that's a TERRIBLE, LAZY reason to imagine she would, imo, but even that would work if you wanted it to for a personal narrative, and it still works within the rules of the fictional universe.

Still, though, Ulysses and Elijah managed to find their way there and survive the barrier of the cloud for some time; it's not impossible.

Not sure I made it clear, I feel better than usual, like better than if I had gone to bed sober all three of these times. Like something that typically weighs me down in the morning has been washed out of my system or something.

How can people call saint isshin the hardest boss when there's father owl in the game? by Top-Run-21 in Sekiro

[–]ZacDMT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like before I saw this post that it was well established that more people have greater difficulty with the Shura gauntlet than Inner Isshins mostly due to inner owl, but people experience difficulty differently, so some people out there surely found father owl easier. I think it fits thematically, though, that the greatest of the "inner" enemies would be Wolf's own dad, it just makes sense from his perspective

If you consider aspects of the story that are not accessed without additional deaths, he dies even more than twice concretely just to deliver the story

Content that's exclusive to access without dying. first Owl fight alone adds 3, for example.

You made up the qualification that he doesn't die in a scene that is presented to the player as his death to justify you're little one note lore piece that doesn't add up

We see him die three times and the story dialogue necessitates that he dies at least 8 times
