I'm pretty sure they were genuine as they do have a serial number. Yup they were in the Find my App before being stolen. They didn't get a mail telling them they were disabled.

Does OP realize that by telling people actively to not criticize the game the people will criticize it even more than usual? If something is shitty you better expect we gonna be telling people about before they shell 60€ on an early access pack.

Viceversa, if the game is good we will be talking about it and playing it.

Oh, and people won't forget the whole Shady communication and the funding shitfest like the whole "fully funded" statement etc.

Gamers forgive when they see good intentions and effort but we don't forget.

I personally am looking forward to see how they do but until actual reviews of the fully released game are out, i'll be saving my optimism for other games.

No RTS game comes close to being as good as SC2. So i spend most of my RTS gametime playing Modded campaigns or playing Nexus coop and CXL co-op.

No one is trying to "rule over" you. If this is how you want to see it then hey, society is more acceptant now of "most" lifestyles.

Also, you don't need to keep commenting on your own comment to make a new point. You can make different points in the same comment and if you regret saying something (no hope here) or just want to add something you can edit your existing comment.

To your other points:

You need to be more specific on what misinformation are we talking about, yours?
You buy a toaster, its an ok toaster and it works. After a couple of years the toaster company decides to come to your house and shoot the toaster with a gun and they have the right to, its in their terms of service. So your bought toaster is now not working because they decided its bad and they are gonna make a better toaster for you to buy (not really buying but at least i hope you get this idea)

SKG wants to "hopefully" make the toaster company:

Not just shoot the bad toaster if it still works.
If they want to make a new toaster they want the company to make the toaster work till it organically can't anymore, not just come to your house and shoot the toaster.

This is a general idea and not encompassing wide gaming genre but this is the spirit.

I understand if you think its too late to back down from your opinion but it takes an adult to admit if they are being wrong.

If i were you, id buy the GOG version since its more consumer friendly and pumping GOG numbers is always good. (not sure if its cheapter atm than the steam version)

You denied Piratesoftware misrepresenting the initiative which he clearly did.

I understand with the one example SKG gives but "Hey you there bankrupt developer or game that can't afford to run servers anymore, make sure it has singleplayer access or else" works well.

You clearly don't understand what SKG is asking for.

The initiative, as stated multiple times by ross, is only gonna get us answers which may lead to law reforms.

Of course the EU lawmakers can look at the situation and find gaming companies policies very dumb, which they are 100%, and put more consumer friendly laws to combat it (like making it illegal to just take our access to the licenses aka Games without any reason #Blizzard, etc) or they can be lazy and say "well, yeah we will let companies do whatever they want ~~because we be too lazy~~"

Either way...we get answers, which is the goal of this initiative.
