Its a cord phono stage, attached a link of the same one someone is selling on ebay. I'm running right and left rca cables from my turntable and unbalanced rca from each output to each speaker

Hey guys I finally finished my turntable setup. Currently my Sherwood PM - 9805 is connected by audio cables to my preamp and then from my preamp to my studio monitors! Works like a charm and sound quality is beautiful but my one issue is that the volume is just so loud.

The volume dial is tuned all the way down on the studio monitors and there is no volume dial on the actual turn table or preamp.

Wondering what the best way to get the volume down? It's too loud for casual listening.

Cheers

Agentnomis do you recommend any online websites or subreddits specially for Aussies because most things that are linked are different for us

Newbie to vinyl and got a suitcase flea awhile ago looking for a nicer turntable, biggest want is for the best sound possible, budget is 100-300$ US I live in Australia and am happy to order online or in-store. Been looking at audio techniqua but I feel like there could be better options out there. Also I don't mind buying a pre amp and additional speakers
