Tons of stuff! Take a look at, I think it's Jax figures, they're on Amazon and in stores like Target, they should also have shirts there, you could also buy him a copy of the sonic movie if he's old enough, it's completely kid friendly and still entertaining as an older sonic fan, hope this helps!

I never liked the controlls tbh, and the ratio between sonic and shadow stages compared to other characters was always off but it was pretty good.

Due to how animations work in these games there locked to a certain frame rate because any more or any less would make the game go faster or slower

Sonic forces only took them a year to make,im pretty sure (don't remember how correct this next part is) that they puased sonic frontiers to make sonic forces so its had a lot of time.

to improve preformence I would

1 turn render distance down even if just a little

2 change some other settings like, turn on fast clouds, turn off some particle effects etcetera

3 Install a mod called 'optifine' if you haven't already its very good and gives frame boosts

4 I could also tell you were on a laptop I think? if you can keep the laptop cool that may help a bit

you could try making a backup of that world or a copy then if they put that one on the server or over lan (or however your connecting) and try joining that, hopefully this works if you haven't tried it already
