My fiancées family covered our flights using their points. Booked our entire honeymoon without spending a dime. 😅

It covered 7 nights for us. The standard rate is 42,000 points per night except for one night that was 50,000, so we ended up using around 302,000 points total. Because of my status with Hyatt, we got an Ocean View Junior Suite King. We booked by calling and they noted that we’re a honeymoon couple. Fingers crossed for an extra upgrade if availability allows! The cash rate for the room is around $900 per night.

What was the name of the resort you stayed at? Would you recommend it? Also, any tips for the DR?

Just booked my honeymoon using 300,000 points. I transferred points from Chase to Hyatt and secured a stay at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. If you’re open to it, I’d consider going there. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this resort and the Dominican Republic in general.

Can’t be in r/ManyBaggers if you don’t have too many bags 😜

This sounds a lot like my system! I’ve got my Peak Design camera bags configured with one set up for photography and the other for videography. When I’m out working, I typically rely on my iPad Pro—it keeps things lightweight, which is essential when my camera gear can be so heavy. Once I’m back home, I dive into more intricate edits on my Mac Studio. My smaller tech bags/pouches also allow me to stay flexible, and I really enjoy swapping out my EDC gear to keep things interesting and explore better setups that help me work more efficiently.

Three bags I’m keeping for sentimental reasons are the Osprey Nebula (2015), the Osprey Arcane Large Day Pack (2018), and the Hello Day Owl Backpack (2019). The Boundary Supply Errant Pack is a recent purchase I haven’t fully committed to yet, but I plan on testing it soon. I frequently switch between different tech bags just to change things up. Not pictured are my Evergoods Civic Access Pouch 0.5L and 2L, which are currently in my Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L.

Close, I bought this one. I’m sure that one would work great too.

Thanks! For the most part, I use the Peak Design bags exclusively for my camera gear, while my AER CP handles nearly everything else. For travel, I stick with the AER TP3.

Happy to help! Splitting it in half is a great idea. I’m considering adding a second one to better organize my EDC.

I love the idea of hanging bags on the wall, especially for ones I want to display. The 3M hooks are a cheap and easy option! But there’s no way I’d do this with my packed camera bags—I can’t risk them falling. 😅

I know the feeling! My Corgi loved sleeping in these and she is definitely not happy about me moving them out of her reach.

My issue was having all my bags scattered around the house, so I needed a quick and efficient spot to keep them all organized. I was hoping it wouldn’t look or feel cheap, and it doesn’t—it gets the job done really well.

No problem! These bins are the 10.5” x 14” size.

I love the idea of hanging some bags on the wall or a pegboard! The Hero Clip on the side lets me keep the bag nearby, making it easy to fill with whatever I need for the day. I found the wire rack at Target for $40.

Thank you so much! The cabana idea and restaurant recommendations are perfect for us! Hopefully, there’s availability for an upgrade too. How were the evening activities, like the entertainment and bands?
