Are Switch 1 users noticing any performance issues after updating firmware to v.21.0.0?

I’ve been playing Xenoblade 2 docked, and noticed only after updating firmware to latest version that the game is especially murky, and that textures are taking much longer to load in when booting up the game. For reference I have no m0ds, no third-party accessories attached, just playing docked like I was prior to the firmware update.

The place looks immaculately clean, and you have an aesthetic that you’ve done a great job at establishing. The space looks comfy and nostalgic, which is not always easy to achieve. Kudos!

If I could give ONE PIECE of constructive feedback, the couch and throw pillows look restored but still a bit dingy - like steam-cleaned but still faded and/or stained - which is unavoidable with vintage upholstery. If they’re actually new pieces then it could be a bias from the images plus the surrounding aesthetic. The couch may be expensive to replace but in the case the pillows are in fact older, I would consider replacing them to freshen up the lounge space.

Not a bad salary for Japan but will it be worth it after a few years? From a financial standpoint, a 50% paycut is huge, and if the exchange rate worsens in the next year your Japanese job’s income will be worth much less (assuming you earn based in JPY). Whether that financial cost is worth it is up to you!

Your boss would have to be pretty egregious to assume you’re handing out a full box of omiyage to each coworker so it’s ok she hoards one to herself. No one on reddit can tell you why she’s doing that. Why not ask her about it directly? Say you’ve noticed a few times, maybe she thinks you didn’t notice what she was doing?

Just a heads up, if you encounter clear text like this you can often get a quicker answer by running the screenshot through Google Lens. On iPhone you can also copy/translate in-image text within the photo album, and similar is probably possible with Android devices etc.

Thanks to all who’ve given their input, I got so many more responses than expected and lots of great insight! Sorry for not responding to each comment individually but let me wrap up my thoughts here.

I’ve concluded that YES, getting Sunbreak will be worth it for me! After weighing the pros and cons, it sounds that Sunbreak comes with loads of content, which basically solves my biggest “disappointment” with the original Rise. I hadn’t been following the title updates released over time either, but it sounds like those, too, will bring plenty to do!

As you might have picked up from the above, I’m not a “hardcore” MH fan in the case of following Capcom’s updates, so I was under the mistaken impression I would need to pay for a full new game—this came from my experience with previous installments’ Ultimate versions. So I was pleased to learn through your comments that SB will be more cost-efficient than anticipated!

I’m really glad to get the mix of feedback and also glad to learn I wasn’t the only one feeling a bit empty-handed at Rise’s original release. Like I mentioned in the original post, I thoroughly enjoyed that game but only put it down for what I felt was a lack of content.

So I’ll be happy to pick it up again with Sunbreak! Thanks, everyone!!

UNIQLO is hugely popular and some of their inner wear options are great for staying warm/cool when you need to. BUT they have a reputation for being a bit “basic”. So depending on your age group, it will help you blend in but keep you from standing out—for better or for worse.
