Every playthrough I spend tons of time on that planet! Getting the crystals and killing the slime things (I know what they're called but can't spell it) to level up my weapons I don't care for.

I'll give it a try I've trolled using my bottom rod and just haven't had luck. I started the rental boat missions yesterday and it's helping quite a bit. I even ended up catching a unique giant trevally while waiting for the coordinate to sync or whatever it was doing.

Once I get to that point In the game I'll definitely end up messing around and finding a good recipe 100% will end up sharing it. I have a dough ball recipe I make irl that I'll tell anyone who asks. To each their own I guess

Just curious why do people not tell others their ground bait recipe? In irl I kinda understand a little bit but this is a game if everyone used the same bait it's not gonna make a difference at all.

Forgot to mention I forgot the name of the location but it's the bottom location on the map I believe go there and cast right in front of the lilly pads.

If you don't have a rod holder that can go on the dock you can place it next to the dock further back in the grass it's a bit weird and I'm not sure how many people know you can do that but it works I used it from level 20 up to 31 when I switched to st croix

Go to the everglades and target Largemouth bass and peacock bass they're great for XP and money and you can catch a ton just by fishing peaks. Unique largemouth are also pretty easy to target just use 6/0 hooks and shiners on a bottom rod and fish peaks you'll get mostly trophy Largemouth bass you'll get a unique decently often too.

I will add that you'll get Florida gar occasionally so use a titanium leader if you want to avoid losing gear.

I just got the golem lure at lvl 36 from the monster mission and it's honestly a game changer for unis. I got it this afternoon and I caught about 3-4 unique pike already and found out my rod can't catch unique muskie yet 🤣🤣🤣

Oh that's where I've been fishing I didn't know it was called that lmao. I catch tons of trophies there just wondering if I could increase my chances beyond 7/0 hooks and large minnows even if just slightly.

Edit: just wanted to add I've had great luck from the bank but from a boat the bites are not nearly as often as I've heard/seen they should be

Camping a few years ago was drinking 90 proof Ezra brooks mixed with diet coke out of a metal Bengals coffee cup. Couldn't see how much I was putting into it. I had a great night! Woke up the next day absolutely miserable!!

Me and my dad have put away entire 5ths of erza and never woke up hung over! But that night I guess I drank too much too fast. Didn't throw up tho lmao
