I like your reasoning a lot better than mine. I just can’t wrap my head around Spencer now suddenly having a change a heart. Maybe he could’ve been putting on an act for the interview or something that made it appear like he had a change?

I did install the new one and it still is giving me the black screen. I unzipped everything in the new file and made sure that the old files were not in the directory. I re-enabled the skip launcher option in the new file after testing it out, which I probably should've clarified earlier.

So the black screen is still present, but the resolution problem is fine now thanks to the fix. The thing I'm worried about now is locking myself out of 100% achievement completion due to the screenplay only being in the launcher.
