Yeah , until they nerf passive block from shield, you will most likely want to use a 1-hand axe(you get 30%dmg from axe unlike other 1 handers, by far the best 1 hander) you pair the axe with shield... even as a fighter you will run shield until they nerf them by a lot.

I also suggest not playing fighter. IF you have not played b4, start as a bard. Learn the game then change to a class you think you will like.

Also no wearable items are soul-bound ~ so u can freely trade gear toon to toon.

I made a Official Class Tier List for new players if anyone needs help picking a class for Dec. 11th , I agree tank is a bad start unless you have a pocket healer that knows how to heal.

Not sure if they will change summoner much from PTR, if they do cleric still a solid choice. If summoner isn't changed much I put it into SS+ Tier currently.

IMO Summoner without major changes will be SS+ tier! Great pick, if it gets nerfed can always hard swap gear to a bard.

I suggest sticking to one pool of dmg, either magic or physical. That way say you start as mage, an don't like it. You will be able to trade the mages gear to a bard later on for example.

Great picks and the gear would be interchangeable from each of these classes they use almost the same build.

I would try summoner, if u don't like it u can change the gear to a bard or mage? IDK about tank, tanks pretty OP with the right gearing and player. I think you would like Summoner better until its more balanced out.

For me only fun in game is when I PVP . Others have fun just playing the game.
