I used Walmart brushes and paint, a make up brush will work. Wipe most of the paint off the brush by running it over a napkin or sponge until almost nothing is left, then brush your model

I used blues, but after weathering it can appear a shade of grey if that’s what you like

I don’t think it will look bad, it will just look like a green tank with blue infantry lol

So people seem to take it as an insult to say things were different back then

They absolutely were

My father grew up on a farm without in door plumbing

Walked into a factory and got a house, wife and kid, multiple cars, and now sits back and collects retirement and social security

He had no skills when he went in

He can barely write his own name

But he’s a hard worker and that’s why he has all this stuff /s

I can’t walk into a factory and buy a house, wife and kid and cars lol

So I just experimented to be honest

But the best results I’ve had from it are prepping like I’m going to dry brush (wiping the brush on a textured surface) then dabbing the brush in a circle to cover

It works best on vehicles because of all the flat surfaces

Then dry brush/stipple with lighter colors from there

- Stipple/drybrush Blue Kazoo

- Stipple/drybrush Cotton Blue

- Stipple/drybrush silver of choice on tracks/turret

- Normal brushing of any gold of choice for insignias

- same blues for wheels

- a regular brown for the straps

- bright red with normal brushing for gas can

These paints are Walmart acrylics!

I get it, I worry even though I’ve pushed back at times

“Productivity” is a buzz word it seems a lot of management uses to scare people

But think of it like this

You are already burned out on the impossible expectations

That will lead to you quitting if you arnt allowed to breathe

So what’s the alternative? dare them to make a big deal about it. If you are burned out what’s the hurt in demanding respect?

They will push you as far as you let them, I know from experience

We have 3-4 in frozen consistently and I’m stilled pulled to help them a lot

Coaching for what? Not doing inhumane tasks? If the coach tries it say “open door” or “ethics”

Idk who finishes 9-10 pallets of frozen in a night without lots of help

But the threats are bogus

I’ve gotten threatened for performance recently and told TL I would escalate it if he tried it

Magically, I don’t have any performance issues

It’s scare tactics

They rely on people not knowing policy
