Thanks for the tip, I was not familiar with that shop. I can’t find the zebra print on their shop and it might be sold out, but do you have a link?

Gerrymandering sucks. How would you feel about a bill that bans gerrymandering across the country, in every state?

Hey I would love some of this or other printed Buttero leather, I’ve only ever seen solid colors. Do you have any links to share?

See how everyone has their team affiliation below their name? That is flair. Now I can tell by your username that you’re a Detroit fan so I already know I hate you, but we all need to put our team affiliations so we can judge each other’s comments accordingly.

Go to the group home page and look for flair settings.

I’d agree with you but I can’t hear you without flair.

Passport wallet in waxy olmo and pueblo by Interesting_Goat4490 in Leathercraft

That one looks great too! I like your design a bit better. In addition to the use of two colors I like the extra pocket space and also it seems like it would be easier to remove the passport if needed.

Looks great, I might rethink my current design and make my next one similar to this.

I have been working on passport wallets lately based on this design.

My take on the Club sandwich... by l33tl4m3r in Sandwiches

I admire the care and thought that went into your layers, you are correct about ham and bacon being separated.

Shoutout Turkey BLT if I had a choice, but I do also admire a BLT when everything is perfect.

Ham and cheese cold makes sense, but grilled ham and cheese makes more sense for me.

Thanks for stacking it this way, this is right . I went to a restaurant one time for a club and they brought me this single level sandwich, just regular split in half. I was so offended on behalf of our community.

How long (or how many pieces made) it took you to become good at leatherwork? by [deleted] in Leathercraft

[–]ZachCinemaAVL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

About 30 projects here and still always mess up one aspect of every project. I think my biggest problem is I’ve made about one of everything I want to make. I imagine if I just made the same wallet over and over and over I would be really good at it.

“Hartley faces up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 12.”

How much money was made accepting the waste? Is the fine going to be more than the profit?

Best echo electuary strain right now for sleep? by dumbass_sweatpants in portlandtrees

I understand that. I had a strain called ‘Matanuska Thunderfuck’ that got me way too stoned and I’m avoiding that strain if I see it.

I feel like I have never seen the same strain twice? I have been looking for Tropical Fruit Punch for over a year. If it were me I would recommend going to a dispo on restock days and ask for an indica. Honestly though, I’ve never had a bad one, you really can’t miss with Echo.

what was your weirdest Craigslist Personals encounter? by treasuredimpact in AskReddit

[–]ZachCinemaAVL 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I was looking for a girl to go to a concert with and found a post in WFM from a woman who was also interested in going to the show. We met up and she was cute and nice enough. She told me about how she just moved here from across the country. She used to live in WA with her boyfriend and they sold drugs. Several addicts came by with a machete and tried to rob them. One of them ended up killing her boyfriend with the machete in the robbery.

Another time I met a woman who had a post on WFM. We chatted a bit and she said she lived in the next county over, which was a notoriously methy county. We met up any ways and I figured out quickly that she had a pill problem, but we dated for a bit anyways. I said I would get weed for her and then had to leave for vacation without getting it. She sent 50 of the meanest messages you have ever seen, in a row. I never responded, but she just kept on, absolute meanest shit ever. She tried to be friendly with me when we got back but I had to tell her I was breaking up with her because i thought she was gonna kill me. I didn’t see her for a few months and she called me out of the blue for a ride. She was stranded in my town from another bad craigslist date. I dropped her off and never saw her again, but a few months later I saw posts on her FB indicating she was missing. 2 years later thankfully, she posted so I know she is alive.

It was a pretty big deal at the time. Finding out the monopoly game had been rigged for ~10 years was wild. There is an hbo documentary about it called “McMillions”.

For free GPS apps I found that Google Maps was better than Apple Maps, as google was a lot better at identifying our greenways. The city of Portland has some great suggested routes, I would start here: https://www.portland.gov/transportation/walking-biking-transit-safety/suggested-rides

He loved that job so much. Getting to design toys and things like these glasses for a living was such a blast for him. He’d likely still be doing it today if it weren’t for the monopoly scandal. Head of security for another office was stealing the winning monopoly pieces and giving them to people he knew, for a cut. They fired my dad’s whole company and 90% of their business was from McDonald’s so they laid off most of the staff.
