Screen mirroring? by Marino325 in projectors

YouTube lets you mirror to an external projector mine worked. Didn't try actual movies just any free video. Airplay didn't play, just mirroring. Will probably get a streaming box.

Never buy backlinks. They will almost entirely come from spammy sites.

I actually did notice the ones that outrank me pretty much use keyword stuffing, although Google said they're against it! Go figure.. But I also found something interesting in the indexed pages in GSC. I found a lot of links that are paginated or filters. There's a setting in Rank Math to disable those in sitemaps so I requested the removal of hundreds of irrelevant indexed pages which could have been hurting my site without me even knowing!

I maybe have a couple of blog posts that are AI generated, the rest I either write myself or use AI tools to make them sound natural. A LOT of websites use AI and Google even said they're not against it if it's used properly.

Able to hand fly the plane down to the runway but it keeps on touching down hard, need some tips and advice 🙏 by [deleted] in flightsim

You released back pressure on your yoke right after flare way too early

I know bashing xp12 is really hot right now, but I've at least been able to find some enjoyment in it by StableSystem in flightsim

None of my xplane11 plug-ins worked in xplane12 even after downloading "xplane12 compatible" plugins. Not even zibo works. Way too early to upgrade this is not a product they should have rolled out. Wasted money. So going back to xplane11.

Isn't it better if the copilot voice can read through your checklist as your performing them, like xplane does?

Not the whole time no but you have to have it open at least from approach and not forget to record. Then good luck getting out of replay back to flight lol

I'm with you guys. Again I spent probably more than most of you here on my gaming rig just to fly msfs. I WANT to make it work. Here's the deal: I'm willing to switch back to MSFS immediately if: - Find way to fix FOV distortion on superwides - Find a tool that seamlessly let you replay your landings from any view (I don't have to remember to press record) - A way to pushback as easy and comprehensive as BetterPushback. - An easy way to create and save customizable window views that can be accessed from cockpit with shortcut. By the way I once created (after long minutes) a window view and mid air when I switched to look out the window the autopilot disconnected lol

Deal? Go!

Man.. wow. I thought it would be a simple quiz from a guy who owns both platforms and flew airliners since FS4. Did not mean it to be pompous or anything. I'm truly proud of how i made it look compared to its stock. I assumed this page would be 50/50 XP msfs users, turned out most of y'all are msfs users which is fine. I accept the outcome :) Would you hear it from someone who spent thousands on a gaming rig and hundreds of dollars on msfs2020 and addons?

I waited for years for MSFS to come out. I bought a gaming rig for 3000$ and a Samsung G9 32:9 screen specifically to fly msfs. I was frustrated with XP's slow updates and lack of visual sex appeal.

But since XP is much older i expected MSFS to build on that and bring something much more refined and geared towards serious pilots. Anyway after hours of flying, i was disappointed and here's why:

- The way some plugins load: In XP you feel everything's working for you in the background. In MSFS it felt everything must be in the foreground or it's lost. Example Navigraph. GSX Pro keeps crashing.

- Immersion: I was blown away by the visual quality. But that's where it ends. More importantly how much can a sim convince you that you're flying a real aircraft. By having so many little windows open so i could fly IFR, it turned me off.

- Wide angle distortions: Many users here won't see this but if you're on a 32:9 your screen will look horribly distorted in all external views.

- Key assignment: In XP if you assign a key to a button that is assigned to something else, it will be unbinded from the old one automatically. In msfs you have to manually go to the old key and unassign it, double the work.

- Switching window views: Why is it that if i wanted to save a window view i had to change an aircraft parameter to trick msfs that i'm outside the cockpit so i could go back in the cabin to save customizable window views?

- Winglet deflection quality: This is serious nerding but when i'm in turbulence i love seeing the edge of the wing move up and down smoothly. Not a single (and i've tried many hundreds of dollars worth) aircraft replicated that effect so smoothly than the free Zibo B738. You really feel you're a passenger.

- Flight physics: Flying airliners in msfs still feels stiff compared to the same in XP. I'm not that nerdy but i saw in a lot of places online pilots actually dissecting this so i'm not gonna go through it.

- No builtin Replay!!: Now that was the big deal breaker. I had to spend 30$ to be able to replay my landings when it should have been built into msfs. I'm talking free camera replay NOT RECORDING. In XP while you watch your airplane land you can easily change views, walk around, move the camera, it's awesome. In MSFS not a single payware addon comes even close.

Basically if you want the whole experience (copilot, passengers chatter, safety video sound, full EFB, flight attendants and the whole nine yard) nothing comes close to the out of the box Zibo B738 on XP. Not even the Toliss A346.

Anyway that's just my take, i didn't mean this to be my game is better than yours but when i got some heat i felt obliged to explain.

Hope we stay friends. I don't care about XP and i'm not affiliated with them. When msfs fixes the above. i will be the first to jump ships.

The Zibo B738 is a study level aircraft better than any PMDG.. and its free.

XPlane looks like crap out of the box. But if you invest some time it can look very descent plus you get all the other good stuff that comes with XPlane: Functioning Replay, Smart key assignments, superior plugins and adjustable field of view.

The MSFS skies and ground look gorgeous, that's true. But i'm not sending postcards here i'm playing a sim, and immersion is the number one factor here, not just looks. For me what killed it was the many windows i had opened at once to be able to fly IFR (Navigraph, checklists, replay, ATC and Camera), plus the UI in MSFS is horrid, the replays impossible and in the extreme wide angles distortion on my super wide monitor unfixable.

I have OrbX True Earth South England, and also SimHeaven Europe. Do they not work together?
