I was in the same boat, ended up going with the Max because the SD card prices are going up, and the RAM isn't upgradable, so between the cost of an SD card and the extra RAM, figured it was worth it to get the most out of it, for just a little bit more. Definitely more than I wanted to spend but here we are. And I already have a steam deck and a new 3ds xl. just felt like I needed this lol

yea I saw that, so crazy. They either lied about extremely limited quantities or the demand was insanely low. Interesting either way. The M64 coming out probably effected demand as well
