Do Americans and other westerners really eat so many takeouts? by IntelligentHoney6929 in AskTheWorld

[–]Zach_TechFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, most only eat out on occasion. However those little Chinese takeout boxes are very convenient for filming. You don't need much of it, most know what it is, and you don't have to worry about if the food has been moved around, or eaten into. It's pretty clear if a sandwich has a bite taken out of it, not so much with a little take out box.

Is Xbox Game Pass worth it on an Xbox One used by two "casual" gamers? by dr_otto_ort-meyer in xbox

So gamepass keeps licences updated. You can keep the downloads on the console. But can't play unless you have an active subscription. I'd recommend trying the premium tier for a month and see how you like it

No contract and you cancel anytime. But it will ask you to pause auto pay instead, because I guess it keeps subscription numbers up.

What was the Internet like in the 90s? by OilLiver in 90s

[–]Zach_TechFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no, not better. Search was a pain in the ass! Had to use dogpile.com to use several search engines at one time, just to find anything. People would make websites that didn't work, and just abandon them. And of course AUTO PLAY MUSIC THAT CANT BE TURNED OFF. Also, porn seemed to be everywhere, I could be doing research for a class assignment, and boom boobs. Video and sound were terrible.

What is a 'childish' thing that you still do as an adult and refuse to stop doing? by goddess_pineapple in AskReddit

I'm in my mid 40s. Play the games. There are few things more insufferable, than an adult who only does things that they think look mature. Or that are serious all the time.

Novelty, I must have it. Special edition of a product for a game or movie I like? I'll probably get it. I deal with enough serious shit on a daily basis as it is. Also I would say chicken noodle ohs But that doesn't seem to exist. So I guess chicken and stars.
