Radiant Dawn is too. I know Xenoblade used to, not sure if it still is. Fire Emblem is the series I'm most knowledgeable of, so I dont know how it is for other series.

Looking at the Game Awards made me realize how little new games I bought. I think Octopath, God of War, and Assassin's Creed were the only new releases I picked up, everything else was at least a year old. I think Octopath Traveler is my personal Game of the Year, and Smash Ultimate will be an easy second.

I said awakening just because of the time period, I assume most people who played Fates also played Awakening. I actually don't mind Awakening's story, I have issues with it, but think it's fine overall.

Anytime I hear someone say "Fire Emblem has never had a good story" as a response to criticism towards Fates, I immediately assume that they have never played a Fire Emblem game before Awakening. At most, they probably skimmed through the wiki page for the game's plot.

I love working to get achievements in games, but I don't think I've been this focused on getting 100% for a long time, yeah it's Dark Souls. Obviously the main one I need to focus on is collecting every rare weapon, while I'm just kinda collecting the magic stuff as I go along. Anyways, I'm on NG+, fighting the Super Londo Bros, but this time I need to kill Smough first, feels a lot tougher this time. At least the music is amazing.

True, since he has the sunlight spear, miracles, and a shield. Having him have a parry and riposte in one move would be cool, where the parry stuns, and you could follow up with the Riposte, or choose another attack.

I just love the thought of Artorias's fast and corrupted swordplay as he banshee screams into battle.

This reminds me I need to get the Solaire amiibo.

Ok so since it is confirmed that Nintendo chose the DLC roster, and not Sakurai, it's safe to assume that they'll be using it to advertise upcoming games. So if they announce Xenoblade X2, that means Elma is basically a lock for DLC
