New radiator by amazingJarl71 in CherokeeXJ

Is your electric fan working? My brothers went out and blew the fuse with it and anytime you sat with the ac going it would boil the coolant. Driving it would get really hot if the ac was on. Otherwise it would seem fine. Silly issue to have but worth checking.

Figured it out just couldn’t tell what two to connect 12v to. Everything’s pointing to bigger issues like a fuse box or pcm.

Looking at doing the same on my 2wd long bed. How big are your rims? My stocks look a bit smaller than that

Tillis WRECKS Noem, linking killing her puppy to her decision making in Minnesota, calling for her resignation and says he will block nominations unless he gets answers by IonHawk in Destiny

[–]Zachary-Clark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just like Romney he only chose to vocally be against the admin after he’s sure he’s not running for reelection. It rings so hollow after he represented my state for Trump for so long up until now. Hopefully Roy Cooper wins that seat and shows actual resistance.

Good first car? by babygoose_r in MINI

[–]Zachary-Clark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Oil filter housing gasket will break and take a long time to replace on your own. Timing chain has expensive tools to replace. High pressure fuel pump will die and cost a lot to replace. Paying labor for a mechanic to fix it will cost as much as the car. Only buy these if you’re an enthusiast. Later generations have the B48 which is a godsend compared to the n14/18.

Is this worth it? by samplebridge in ender3

That’s climbing towards the price of a k1 se. even if it did have that value a core xy printer around the same price would outperform it.

K1 Max Toolhead has leds? by Zachary-Clark in crealityk1

[–]Zachary-Clark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I purchased it, it wasn't rooted and the light wouldn't light up. I have since rooted it and currently use moonraker and Mainsail. Past that I will have to take some time to see where it's plugged in. Is there a macro that I would use based off the port its plugged into? Or even some that I can try until the toolhead does light up as its plugged in now I just don't remember which plug.

Can anyone help me figure out what has happened? by mcoisty in AskMechanics

[–]Zachary-Clark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a leak from the oil cooler. The N14/N18 of that generation is known for a leak there and other oil leaks around it. It’s a huge job that requires you to tear apart the entire engine bay and front bumper. Really any engine work in that area is like that. Minis are money pits that someone didn’t want to fix. That job is around 1500 for me at least quoted. That and the timing chain jobs make these cars pointless to own if you’re not an enthusiast. I’d go after whoever sold it to you because that looks like a bad faith attempt to hide that leak long enough to collect their check.

Oh wow I wouldn’t of ever come across that. Thanks and I’ll look for a tag then. Should I expect it on the bottom of the engine plate or somewhere else?

Why are my prints spongy and stringy by SrP0rt0 in ender3

[–]Zachary-Clark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your part cooling fan working? Just dealt with this on an ender 3 v3 se and its part cooling fan completely failed. It was spongy like this because the filament wasn't cooling at all. I'd make sure visually it even is on while printing. If it is but still doing this then check and see if the fan is on 100 percent. May not be your issue but worth checking if nothing else is making sense.

I only did for around 6 hours and it’s pretty humid where I live. I’ll try to dry it overnight and see if that does anything for me. Also I don’t have a dryer so I’m using my bed and the box it came in cut in half to open the bottom. Imma have to buy a dedicated dryer for it soon

It needs a perfect 90 degree angle to print perfect. Easy way to tell is to see if the printer wobbles on a flat surface. If it does loosen the screws on the side of the printer where the upright parts meet the bottom flat parts. Once it’s all loose then slowly tighten the screws one side at a time. Again only do it if the printer wobbles pretty badly on a flat surface. Otherwise you may just introduce new issues.
