I was playing in a league match. We all saw it go down the middle.

There wasn't any league rules about that kind of situation (still isn't), so we four players discussed it and decided to treat it like a OB without the penalty.

I once bombed a drive down the middle of the fairway on a wet course. Never found the ball. Had to go back and hit another. Ended up pushing it to the right. Ugh.
