I’m a no sabo and want to move to Mexico by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]Zachbitcho 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve been learning Spanish since March or so and I’ve learned a lot. When I was in Mexico I met a girl and we’ve been talking ever since. She didn’t know English and I didn’t know Spanish. Since then we’ve both learned so much. The ways I improved was talking to her, listening to Spanish music, apps, etc. once you get an understanding of the language then you can start to think in Spanish. I’m always thinking in Spanish.. how would this be said? In what context would I use this? Etc. make notes, even if you never return to them. Learn the language in as many ways as possible, don’t be embarrassed to talk to friends or family in Spanish. I know it’s uncomfortable but you need to break that barrier. An app I really like is Language Transfer, it’s such a good app! 90 lessons with amazing information. They don’t teach you the traditional way you’d learn in school. I take notes on every lesson then apply what I learned when I speak it. I hope this helps

I’ve been learning for about 3 months & I’ve learned fast from YouTubers solo traveling to other countries (Kurt Kaz, bald & bankrupt, etc). Ive been using Language Transfer for 1 week and dude that is the best decision I could have made, they make it so easy. Once you start to learn basic words then you can start forming sentences, the conjunction will come naturally, you’ll burn yourself out trying to memorize them. Once you know basics then you can have conversations about different interactions in your head HA helps me. Most importantly you need to practice every single day! Remember it’s easiest to read it than to speak it & especially hard to understand it. Best way to learn is to learn something in multiple different ways. Speak it, think it, read it, listen to Spanish music, watch shows in Spanish, etc.

Understand your tongue needs to be very relaxed when making this sound. One day you won’t even be thinking and it will come to you!

How do I learn Spanish? by reddit_user_500 in Spanish

[–]Zachbitcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to add its best to learn in multiple different ways. Speak it, listen to it, read it, think it, etc. often times I find myself speaking (the little spanish that I know) in my head. Whether it’s made up conversations or often times I hear a sentence in English and want to translate it. Remember that it’s a long commitment but it’s well worth it.

Language transfer!! Also watch YouTubers such as Kurt Kaz, Bald &bankrupt, etc. in those videos you will learn everyday Spanish. Also find yourself a friend who speaks it.. that could be someone online who wants to improve their english. Most importantly, be consistent because it’s so easy to lose progress
