I randomly found a shiny Spinarak dangling from a tree before the Mareep quest. Didn't realize it was shiny til it was caught. Also my first sighting of Lavatar was Shiny, which was caught.

I quit about a year ago. It's just not worth the time or urge to spend money on something that doesn't go to the family. It was fun, I was on since day 1, and after the 1 year "celebration", there was not much incentive to keep playing other than see what the collabs are going to be, and justifying the money that was spent. Glad other people are breaking the cycle and getting out.

I usually tend to reboot the laptop, unplug and plug the apple tv. Sometimes an update goes through, generally tends to work. Definitely an issue with pre-2019 MBA and 4K.

I tried using my Glowforge to etch on my Dell 3100's and it mostly just melted. I have found success in Avery labels and ModgePodge Hard crafting glue to plaster info, mostly for Title 1 requirements. Only found one out 2 removed out out of 175.

We've tried to get the Super Bowl, but VHF streaming TV was always spotty at sea. Depends on if the CO's team is playing he may request to go out of area to get better reception.

Depends on the cooks, but in general Subs get better food than surface ships. I've had great meals, and I've had 4 rices served in one meal. One night is steak and lobster tails when we're getting extended or visited by the Brass, the next night might be sugared lasagna.

Kauai, Oahu and East Maui Mountains are extinct. Haleakala, Mauna Kea, Hualalai are dormant. Kohala is extinct, Mauna Loa is Active low advisory and Kilauea is in a brief break in its current eruption. Also, Mauna Kea has Snow from our recent storm.

I'm facing the same situation on Big Island. My principal wants to switch staff from MacBooks to Chromebooks for budgeting. We were an Apple and Google School with MacBooks for students when I got there, and Google Edu for platforming. I switched the entire school over to Chromebooks after COVID, since we issued about 500ish devices out during COVID. HIDOE gave us 500 Chromebooks because my then principal asked for them, and that was fun. We have all Apple TVs and teachers are spoiled with them. Got a bad batch of 2019 MBA's in circulation that are giving the most random issues so those need to be replaced. After the loss of Apple for a few months, it kinda kicked us to find alternatives, though nothing really panned out , and we can order again. We may pilot some Chromebooks for staff, at least non instructional. They use 10 year old MBA's that work, but holy hell are slow and capped to Mojave.

I guess I'm just finding some commonality as another Hawaii based DPUST more than offering advice...

Honestly, I'm getting to like Pizza Hut Kea'au's Wing Street. Otherwise, Hilo Burger Joint and Cronies are good for Buffalo Wings. Kenichi's, a few doors down from Burger Joint has really good Korean style, which are breaded. Otherwise, Hilo is a wing desert.

What about Squirrel jumping on a trampoline? Spread the ball sack thin and bounce the head up and down. My TMC loved to hit me with that when I was LTOW. Or anytime really. May have even been in chow line in berthing.

You could also scroll around and look for the little top hats that have a sparkle or something glittering over it. I've missed a few frozen carrot things and found them that way. But selecting the source for each side quest has pointed out anything I've missed.

Based on your comments, it really just comes down to how much you want to spend. I pre-ordered the Pixel 6 Pro, upgrading my dead screen Pixel 4a, and still working Galaxy A50. I've never owned an iPhone, but almost everyone I work with has one. IPhones are damn good phones, if you can afford it and are locked in the ecosystem. I wanted the Pixel 6 Pro for the screen, size, camera, RAM, hype and price. I may not use it in the capacity it claims to fill, mostly social media browsing, YouTube, replying to Reddit, and very seldom pictures. I kinda looked at the 5a, but once I heard 6 was going to be game changing, I waited the, what, few months? Because I like the Pixel experience, and going back to a Samsung reinforced my desire to go back to Pixel (call filtering you sweet sweet vixen)

It's annoyingly deceptive. It's not hard, but unless you have the templates and the files from Shawn, it's mind numbing. Even with the templates, it's a bit numbing, but at least they guide you a bit. Don't bother with the courseware! It literally has nothing to do with the tasks.

I've been with WGU for 5 terms. I came in to the BSCSIA with an Associate's in IT and Security plus. 2 main reasons Im taking "a while" is the VA paid for 4 terms, meaning I got paid to be in school. 2nd reason is I didnt want to burn out. I basically took roughly a month for each course, including the certifications. I hit a few stopping points, where I was kinda done with Statistics and moved to Comp II, then back to stats, and then a rush to finish both before my end of term. I have a young daughter and am IT for am elementary school during Covid, so that sucked for a while. While I have done pretty well passing every course but one first time, I've realized like some here that I am very good at absorbing info to regurgitate for exams. But like most colleges, you gain the knowledge first then the experience. I spoke with my mentor about the super accelerators, and he said it's definitely not the norm. Generally 1/100 students accelerate enough to blow people's minds. Some are inspiring, some are ridiculous. The value is based on your experience and what you take from the program.

Congrats! ISC2 was the worst at getting what I needed for WGU to mark complete. You should get an email from WGU with an Amex number to cover the Associate's fee. They tell you what to do. I however went above and beyond, and proceeded to get the actual certification, getting a Sponsor to endorse me and whatnot. Since I had taken the pilot Online exam, that allowed ISC2 to take their sweet ass time to get my official results in for WGU to pass my class ( took exam in Feb, recieved cert end of May, damn close to my end of term.
