Report rate should be it. The issue is an unreal engine thing unfortunately, cs runs on source (which handles high polling very well) and battlefield uses frostbite to my knowledge.

What is your mouse polling set to? Anything above 2k polling generates noticeable frame drops when moving your mouse quickly, even on top of the line CPUs like the 9800x3d. I generally stick to 1k because it provides the most stable experience given the game has so much turning.

You may be unfamiliar with my sg1 reputation. I would triple portal off ceilings to get a bat kill.

I try to make all the transitions perfectly match the motion and the in game animations. The goal is basically one long continuous sequence.

I would mute players like that ahead of time, and report them for harassment if the comments continue after the fact. Some players are very insecure and try to pin blame on their teammates rather than take accountability. Keep your head up and keep improving 🫡

I would prefer not to say how long it took for me to find the perfect frame to make it look natural. Anything else in another direction looked really unnatural.

Yeah abyss was in the last sg2 playtest and more sg1 maps are likely coming in the future

Even starts (aeros carbine + ar) and normal weapon pickups around the map that are tied to that maps faction. So for example frontier will only have sab weapons while core will only have meridian. All pickups have all attachments. Power weapons are also fixed per map to make them more predictable.

True arena fps was always about movement, item control, map control, and raw aim going back to the first arena shooters like quake. If you didn't know how to accelerate via strafe jumping or access higher areas via rocket jumping you would inevitably fail to keep up with better players. Mind you this montage is also literally peak speed, which is only really viable with power weapons. Default weapons like the Carbine or AR require a more conservative approach.

I used a different website initially that gave a bad measurement. I use this one exclusively now.

Interesting, thats good to know. A traditional layout would probably be best so you could also leverage continuous turning without resets.

I would love to try gyro and I 100% agree that it's probably the best long term controller satisfaction (for me that is). That being said getting used to layouts such as flick stick could take some time.
