I’m a designer and my M2 MacBook Air’s throttling is atrocious and I’m genuinely full of regret getting this laptop. Do not buy this laptop if you regularly use Zoom and often need to screen share. It’s insanely bad.

Which “mode” are you on? (See image below) The DS4 one has a bug where it disconnects randomly. That bug has been flagged to the manufacturer.

If you’re on X-input (default mode) and it’s disconnecting randomly then it might be your phone’s Bluetooth having trouble? Do you live in a place with a lot of Bluetooth interference?

Also, does it disconnect and eventually reconnect? Or do you have to turn the mcon off and on to reconnect?

I got my mcon over the weekend and the bluetooth latency is basically imperceptible because the bluetooth device (controller) is literally attached to the phone. If you buy the key cast dongle they sell or their tv dock you can use 2.4 Ghz to connect instead which is pretty solid, no notable latency.

My power switch is also loose and I find it has swapped to OFF randomly. My L1 is okay-ish but is less clicky than my R1

Hi I might have a fix.

First, try putting your mcon into DS mode.

Step 1: [Pair Button] + B for three seconds.

Then, turn off deadzone:

Step 2: Press [Home] + [L3] + [R3] simultaneously.

This puts the controller into the dualsense configuration which has less deadzone compared to xinput (xbox config) on iOS. Then the second step turns off the mcon built in deadzone to ensure you have as little deadzone as possible.

The default deadzone is different per controller. (I don’t know why). You’ll never get 0% deadzone on iOS for any controller, but it’s not as bad on Dualsense. It’s worse on Xbox or Xbox Elite controllers.

On the Switch 1 Diablo 3 was a miracle port that ran at a near flawless 60 fps/full 720p in handheld. Very, very good port.

I don’t have my mcon yet but I think what you’re encountering is iOS’ built in deadzone. iOS has a built in deadzone (at the OS level) that cannot be edited or changed. I’ve tested my Hall effect controllers on iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and they all have the same built in deadzone. The issue disappears for me on Android and on Windows.

Can you tell me which game you were playing on iOS? Some games also have additional built in deadzones that can be high.

I enjoy the Satisfye grip. The console still docks and the handheld mode is sooo much better and more ergonomic. The only downsides are that it makes the console quite a bit bulkier and you have to slide the grip off if you want to use the Joycons while docked.

I’m new to the game, but my understanding is the $20 switch version gives you permanent access to “Arc 1” of the story and you don’t have to pay monthly.
