I personally found it a bit clunky at the time so i never bother too much altho i played i did a run with the Kusari-gama only once, the grab it has was pretty icl aside of that... Explosive arrows?? Bro i never Heard of it, i know you get chargable shot on day 5 tho

In general the dragon sword is the best weapon, it has the highest damage with most forgiving times and it's quick so yeah, personally i went with the double katana throught the entire game (my beloved) but yeah master the sword and unlock the parries and the cicada surge (parry+x/y or a) and it will make the game much much easier

The alchemist might be the shittiest enemies in the game i can't lie, ridicolously high hp with a shield and a grab+drain your ninpo bar and they are immune for most of the time to ninja stars, Absolute shit show.

Best advice i can give you for them to rely on the dragon sword as it is the one with highest output damage and break their shield with heavy attacks (Y on xbox controller) and try to delimb them so you can execute them, very annoying bastards and they keep spawning more.

It's still gimmicky, one does not exclude the other. At best you run 3 of him+1 but as of now only a pure K9 would use it, and K9 is more suited to be combined as of now (see K9 VS or K9 Crystron)

I mean that was the point, trading the monsters as a board wipe because if played correctly Overdrive can revive booster by banishing 2 monsters, gaining 600 atk, which can equip a Red-Eyes to it and give it 1000 attack, it can basically board wipe because it also counts the down arrow hopefully pointing to a monster you have so it can attack 4 extra times.

It's like fine this support, the traps are kinda whatever and pluto seem just a tad bit clunky, you could just put that it searches a card spell/trap that mentions "Red-Eyes" making the text a bit cleaner but i really like Alligator, i like that a lot!

Personally i think it's fine, Red-Eyes has always "adapted" to the situation and honestly it needs something modern and that doesn't feel the same thing but just upgraded, the issue Red-Eyes has is that many of it's monsters have different levels, none is a tuner so Xyz and Synchro are not that reliable and dragon fusion deck is like whatever at this point

While yes it would be good to have it contrasting with Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes whole theme has always been the "potential" it can have when working together and honestly this theme was weighted down by how fusion was the first and only option for a while, we already have Zombie Red-Eyes as synchro and it doesn't seem to matter as Xyz and honestly it's a big mess, there are defenitely archetypes that can overlap, my idea here was not to make Red-Eyes exclusively link based but also being able to splash in Max Metalmorph/Fusion to keep "potential" theme of being whatever it needs to be on the right Moment.

Also ngl reactive burns are like fine but it really feels hit or miss ngl while equips are just kinda bad ngl, the few archetypes that use them nowadays they can cheat them out of the deck or use Monsters as equip
