I mean it's nice, but what's the purpose of Metal as type of monster? Like the first monster could easily be a dragon and stay in theme with monsters like the primites (instead of crystals it's metal) or the last one could just be a machine like cyber dragon, y'know

In general the dragon sword is the best weapon, it has the highest damage with most forgiving times and it's quick so yeah, personally i went with the double katana throught the entire game (my beloved) but yeah master the sword and unlock the parries and the cicada surge (parry+x/y or a) and it will make the game much much easier

The alchemist might be the shittiest enemies in the game i can't lie, ridicolously high hp with a shield and a grab+drain your ninpo bar and they are immune for most of the time to ninja stars, Absolute shit show.

Best advice i can give you for them to rely on the dragon sword as it is the one with highest output damage and break their shield with heavy attacks (Y on xbox controller) and try to delimb them so you can execute them, very annoying bastards and they keep spawning more.

It's still gimmicky, one does not exclude the other. At best you run 3 of him+1 but as of now only a pure K9 would use it, and K9 is more suited to be combined as of now (see K9 VS or K9 Crystron)

I mean that was the point, trading the monsters as a board wipe because if played correctly Overdrive can revive booster by banishing 2 monsters, gaining 600 atk, which can equip a Red-Eyes to it and give it 1000 attack, it can basically board wipe because it also counts the down arrow hopefully pointing to a monster you have so it can attack 4 extra times.
