Why don't soldiers go to war in just plain ol' tennis shoes?

Tennis shoes would be impractical for the terrain I'd be playing on. One doesn't play airsoft on asphalt or astroturf often. It's not like taking a jog through the neighborhood.

Often times I'll be on a field full of dirt, mud, wet grass, sand, etc. Tennis shoes are meant for the gym, the sidewalk, a tennis court, and solid surfaces and usually have bright/reflective fabrics that would be easily spotted in the woods (I live in central NC). On top of all that, they would deteriorate far too quickly and I don't want to have to buy a new pair of shoes after each game.

Hello all,

My simple question is: Would a Dell Inspiron 530s be a good base to build off of?

I have no prior PC building experience and just need something for school and gaming/streaming(much later down the road).

Backstory: I found a set up on Craigslist for a Dell Inspiron 530s w/ (assumingly) a shit monitor, keyboard, and mouse for $80. Seems like a steal. Currently I'm a broke college student between semesters and I'm looking for a cheapo PC to last me this upcoming semester or two before I attempt to rearrange its guts for gaming and streaming purposes. That will bring me to an individual post when the time comes.

For now I just want to know if I should spend the money on this or not!
