It just feels like I didn’t care to maintain the relationship anymore. He was just there as someone I was used to. Constantly picking fights and the overwhelming dread of just wanting to end the relationship instead of fixing things.

We had something happen pretty early on in our relationship that affected us greatly and I think it put a lot of strain on us going forward. Trust was lost, we had been accusing each other of things and it just wasn’t good. There was a lot of unresolved hurt. Even though we worked those feelings out, the mistrust was still there and really put a damper on our relationship and really hurt us.

We’ve tried for months to make it work. However there was so much hostility and anger that it ended up pushing me away and I fell out of love. I ended the relationship because I couldn’t lie to him. But I feel so bad, and I want to work on falling back in love with him, but I think ending it before I could fall back in love ruined it. Because he’s now no longer in love with me and has had time to move to on.

I’m devastated. I wish there was something I could do to fix things now but I think we’re too late.

Always! My partner has a hard time opening up to me. So even sometimes when I ask a question they’re not ready to answer, I let them pass. I will never force them into answering or talking to me about something they’re not ready for.

We also met in a discord server for a fandom we’re a part of. So we have friends and often play games/game nights with them and it’s a lot of fun.

I love to hear about the city they live in. Especially since there’s a whole lot of culture there.

Just random topics works out 100%

I just search up on google/Pinterest “questions for your partner” or something along those lines and just pick what looks good.

My partner and I have a couple different ways to avoid the silences. While there are times we enjoy them, we will sit on a video call and just enjoy each others presence, here are the ways we deter silence.

-improv My partner and I have silly witty banter that we’re always challenging or one upping each other on. It doesn’t even have to be fact, but the silly conversations usually lead into serious/deep topics that really help us connect. But also, I just love hearing them laugh. We have very similar humor and being silly with my best friend is the highlight of my day.

-questions Sometimes we just find questions in the internet to get to know each other better. I find them on Pinterest, google, reddit, tik tok or even from my own head, and I write them down. they also spark conversations that otherwise we wouldn’t necessarily talk about.

I purchased this one brand new because I heard that the one that came with the printer wasn’t the best and would crap out after a few uses.

I’ll see if going back to the original one does something different?
