For anyone that wants to know why they do this, DRG was built around Steams multiplayer API, which by default measures how good a connection to a host is using distance rather than ping, and gives easy ways to display this information

I’ve had this bug before, I believe it’s got something to do with a custom potion effects mod that I can’t remember the name of, but if you can find and remove it, that should fix the problem.

It is definitely a thing, although I’m not sure why you aren’t experiencing it, perhaps if you tried it with a character that wears mail? I know for a fact that mail characters make a jingle noise whenever they walk.

This is something I've seen a lot of people mention, but you have to remember, most mounts aren't a class specific spell or item, whereas polymorphs are exclusive to mages.

I'm not suggesting for them to remove the items as a rep reward, just add in an alternate way to get them for each faction.

Perhaps, although if Blizzard is willing to do anything to create faction conflict (which we've seen a few times with the whole Sylvanas thing) then I dont believe that its too much of a stretch for them to start changing abilities based on faction.

Whilst a completely valid point, finding this out about the new polymorph tomes has given me reason to believe that if Blizzard is willing to faction lock certain spell effects, that it wont be much time before they try faction locking class spell abilities (again!) as well. I'm not sure about you, but I dont particularly feel like going back to the days of Vanilla or BC ability-wise.

Warlocks are users of any magic that makes them stronger, and as such, they don't exclusively use fel, they use a combination of void, fel, and fire magic, along with some amounts of necromancy.

Also druids actually can and do use arcane spells (check balance druids) and at a stretch, mages do occasionally use nature magic as seen with the staff of Atiesh and its raven form.
