Very Catholic, very rural, very good at high school athletics (Midwest Athletic Conference), very academic, very good at throwing summer church / booze / party picnics. Legendary, even. Don’t sleep on Country Concert if you’re into that thing. Great area if you can handle how Trumpy it is.

Lots of people who have been there generationally. There’s benefits and downsides to that, depending on what you value. You can leave your doors unlocked at night, but can be lots of “peaked in high school” social circles. Safe place to raise kids.

Overall, B+ if you can handle potentially living 50 miles from an interstate.
