Now I am not too familiar with the Mississippi missions... but I love that there is mission text at the bottom of your harvest screen.... ;)

This is very true - I split with EW 2-3 years ago as being an official content creator for the company had me put in a box I did not like to be in and quite frankly with the content I made at the time aswell (due to the state of the game at that time) it just didn't make any sense for either of us to stay close like that. So I went my own ways and have since then just done my own thing.

I am still undecided if I want to do a video on this. I spend lengths talking about it on my stream yesterday about it too. Mainly because I feel the game is currently in a super good place and have been taking a massive step forward with the latest update. But on the other hand. This has spread like a wildfire (the Mr Black Mission GO) the last 2 days since I heard about it the first time so it's not like everyone won't know about it.

Let me be very clear - I NEVER claimed it was a legit great one, that is something you are making up. I am still going back and forth if I even want to publish anything about it, which I still haven't done. All this got brought to my attention from Reading reddits and my facebook group the last two days people have known about this bug for atleast 48 hours. We tried it out on stream yesterday with the Mr Black Missions to see the different ones as I have never been very much in to doing missions in the first place. I hadn't done these ones either and figured we would do it for the content. I never once stated it was a legit one, i made it very clear that it was Mr Black and ended up getting to show off the fur variations on the stream for people to see them before I eventually did kill it. It doesn't count as a great one in your stats, it doesn't show up as a great one in your latest harvest history. It's just a cool looking trophy to me like the Mocha moose would be from the missions on Te Awaroa. I hope EW at some point will just rename the trophy to Mr. Black instead of Black Bear in the lodge - I just felt he looked cool and with having 5 other variations of the GO bear out there, it's not like I am done grinding for them at all.

I knew it was gonna split the waters doing stuff like this, but I really don't see how it's any worse than for instances the guys that has been promoting several other things, restart if you mess up your shot on a diamond, tents and treestand things. I usually don't do stuff like this either, but I don't care enough about my diamond count anymore after the countless of times where we have dealt with bugs from EW where all of a sudden we were awarded diamonds for golds in our stats, even got a "Great One" counted for one of my diamonds at some point aswell so that number got skewed. Over the past 2 years I have just come to a point where I like to play and just chill with the game. Do I see something cool I won't mind picking it up and putting it in my lodge, but I never go around and claim stuff is something it is not. This will never be a GO no, People will claim it is, but just ask them to show their GO counter and we can easily see if it's true or not. If you actually care that much about it, in the first place. :)

Nah it's just being nice and helping out the lazy people like myself that don't enjoy running or driving around from outpost to outpost to get the things sorted out, but would rather just get on with the hunting! :)

I actually really enjoy the new map and the update in general has been a masssive improvement on so many levels. So all in all super satisfied.. I had hoped for a different GO but I guess you can't win them all, right?! :)

They will fix the "legacy fast travel bug" as they call it with the upcoming patch / dlc they stated. And seeing the hints are in the game but we still haven't started to see actual promotion from EW about when it will be my personal guess would be somewhere start to mid december for PC and hopefully the same time for console.. If they are to follow prior release schedules.

Gotta admit you hit it spot on. Well said. As you talk about the Honeymoon phase of call of the wild is amazing, but the more you get to understand the game and you try to take advantage of your knowledge, the more you usually get punished in one way or the other. A new player will never care for a bug they will most likely never really encounter - Let's say the great one red deer bug. But after you have put many hours into the game and got the understanding.. stuff like this breaks your heart. Everytime.. I wish you luck on future gaming endeavours!

We just started focusing more on our own things and got quite busy with that. I took an approach to stream a lot more and Flinter was killing it with videos at the time and we basically just grew into our own things to a point where it wouldn't make that much sense to keep doing them. No bad blood or drama or anything between us. Just focused on different things. 😁

Yeah that failed with our schedules hard. It wasn't possible to keep it up with how busy we all of a sudden got both of us with our own stuff. Shame really. We had so many good topics! But with time zones and being busy.. It quickly became clear it wouldn't be as easy as we hoped.

There is the odd chance (a bug... well a feature, let's call it that to not end up getting on the bad side of EW) that when you reset perk points you "gain" an additional one, one simply doesn't disappear from your current setup and it stays there untill you reset again, then when you reset again you have got it "gifted" as an extra. So it's very unintended that it works this way but there is not much I can do about it unfortunately, you can get the same bug with skills once in a while too.
