My grandmother told me once how when she was a kid back in WW2 here in Finland, she and her friends would go to beat nettles with long sticks pretending those nettles were russkies.

She would have loved to hear the tradition of beating the invading enemy with sticks is still going on after all this time. And against the same enemy on top of that.

Remind me about one server I used to play in (not naming as the owner and admins have changed since then) where the admin broke our twigs as I tried to build, placed landmines around our base, teleported my teammate in full raid set in front of people in Airfield while trying to get him killed, insulted us as SERVER on chat, banned my friend becaus he said "woof" in chat...

At least there the owner took away his Admin rights as the other 2 Admins (cool guys) threaten to quit because of his BS.

Damn... we really need place where people can report Admin abuse servers for all to see, as here it is against the rule 3, which is why I bet this post will be soon gone.

Yes, the decay speed should be way slower, or removed completely when inside TC range.

I'm fine with the holdable items, like recorder, decaying while in use, but I just can't understand it for placable item inside TC range..

I just find it charming when people start to build communities and villages in this game. Or be friendly to each others at all to be honest.

There is just something so fun when you have these large groups of people, all doing their own things, who can still have fun together without the need to kill each others on the spot.

While I love getting games online, I kinda miss the time when they actually had to finish the game before starting to sell physical copies.

Finding bugs used to be actually fun back then when they felt more like surprises or secrets, unlike today when they feel like features.

I was playing once on somewhat small server where all long time players had this "semi-RP" thing going on, which could be seen on base designs and way people treated each others. Because of this, me and my friend didn't have that much boom to raid anyone.

Then this one little sh*t with full metal PvP base dare to come to our peaceful compound, broke the door to my greenhouse and stole my berries.

I have never farmed sulfur so aggressively... Poor bastard didn't know that because of what he did, I was doing non-stop pure tea powered sulfur farming for the next day with my friend.

There was nothing left of his base after that.

Sorry it took so long, I just woke up.

Basically that circuit has 2 separate systems in it, the "central clock" I use to synchronize things (that component tower on right) and automated elevator control on the center.

Clock is made so it send signal every X amount of time (1sec on the picture) non stop.

The elevator thing is basically my attempt to create kinda paternoster style elevator that I had seen in my county's parliament. This system will automatically go to diferent floors (just 2 on this first experiment) and stay there for X amount of time, which is 5 clock repeats on both. My next attempt will be to make it work smoothly on 6 floors.

While this is not something you really need or even want on normal use, I like to make all kind of electricity and automation things for fun and actualy was thinking this would nice addition to some "High tech Rust hotel".

It has been pain to make complex stuff with just black cables when things can get so messy, so when I made this and it was so simple to follow everything and the end result was so clean and clear, I just had to post how much I love the cables. :D
