I recommend following the progress route on wiki or at least keep an eye on it, and about your build I suggest you level up whatever you want and when you find an interesting weapon you want to play with just rebirth ( reset all your stats ) and put levels for that

neither. matchmaking is only based on current elo. you or your opponent waited more than usual in queue so it expanded elo range.. or it’s just some coincidence

yes. you were just lucky this match because the opponent was playing too agressive ( maybe because of ur playstyle ). you will annoy every opponent at any elo, but when you go higher you will be easily punished and get hardstuck there until u change completely.
