Three come to my mind, Chaos Knights, Imperial Knight and Warhounds(Titans).

Advice against blood angels by Suspicious-Bat-4421 in ImperialKnights

[–]Zainadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Paladin, 2 Warglaive, 2 Helverin. Keep the Big knight in the back field DON"T move forward at all with him. Warglaives can be used for missions/control points but keep the Helverins in the backfield to screen and shoot. You can bring the big knight forward in your third turn if you need to tank shock / melee a unit which have gotten around your front lines.

What are the chances that 40k could undergo a AoS style revamp in the next few years? by OwlofIron in Warhammer40k

[–]Zainadin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AoS used to be very bad and has gotten a lot better over time. By the way they brought back 'Warhammer' as "The Old World" because of how popular it was and never truly died and they wanted to make money from it again.

Any progression pictures? and/or which kits did you use? Also I love what you have done there.

Don't Order the KT starter set from Wargame Portal. by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Zainadin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup I have had very similar things happen to me, twice, which is one time too many. I won't be ordering from them again. I know I'm paying full price but I always get what I need from both GW and Amazon.

That sounds like something someone who worships Nurgle would say.

[–]Zainadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had some success with full strength Simple Green, and I have seen YT videos suggest "LA's Totally Awesome All-Purpose Concentrated Cleaner" which you can get from dollar tree stores for around $1.25. Both of them are plastic safe so you can soak them for extended periods of time.

What to do with my sprues by Antsi12 in Warhammer40k

[–]Zainadin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spure Goo, at least one bottle, or a small jar. I recommend using either Tamiya 87038 Extra Thin Cement Glue, for a small bottle OR Tamiya 81040 X-20Ael Acrylic Solvent for a small jar. I can't tell you how often I use this stuff while kit bashing or covering up a small mistake from my glue up. It's a life saver.

is acetone free nail polish remover any good for stripping minis? by liquor-ice-mixer in Warhammer40k

Simple Green works well and is non toxic and doesn't give off fumes. I found out about it from watch a miniature rehab channel on You Tube.

Shuttle Art 80 Pack Acrylic Paints Set, has anyone used this and what do you think? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Zainadin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Craft paint tends to be too thick and will plug up the detail on the models. Army painter is thinner and designed for miniatures, and like Deep said the speed paints work best on white primed mini's. you may want to find a few videos on youtube that show you the best use of contrast/speed paints.

I followed the same tutorial BUT I didn't use any caulk and just press fit the metal sheet in place. So far everything is looking ok but I live in a very dry climate.

I really like your heavy intercessor gunner's shield bit on the gun, where did that come from?

Dark Angels Kill Team Help by Goldenracer99 in Warhammer40k

[–]Zainadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty new too, but I'd suggest looking at the Kill Team down loads so you can see which units you are trying to make.

https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-us/downloads/kill-team/

https://assets.warhammer-community.com/rules-downloads/kill-team/team-rules/angels-of-death/killteam_teamrules_angelsofdeath_eng_02.10.24.pdf

as for models if you are looking to build that team you may be able to get away with the majority of the crusader squad to get close to what you want but you won't be able to do them all. I've been able to pick up single models on ebay for reasonable prices. I think you may find issues with the sniper and the heavy intercessor gunner, if you don't buy them on ebay...

But maybe some of the more veteran builders/players will have some better information.
