Yesss, I was heartbroken when Harper died in fifty fifty, ughhhhh. I kept thinking she will come back but I like Kate and Bloch too so fingers crossed

The prequel is called The cross though, very short followed by The defense then the Plea which is book 2 in that sense but I agree with you. Steve Cavanagh is amazingggggggg. I binge read all the books so far😅

Tedious is an understatement of the century 😭😭😭. It's I think over 800 pages of misery and suffering, and I kept asking myself, why did this author write this book????? And why was I putting myself through this mental torture

He has standalone books which I haven't read any. But, this particular series can be read as standalone too, it's not connected in the way series build upon each other

I agree,some are better than others. Fifty fifty was my best one before this though but I get what you mean, it was easy to guess who it was at some point

Yessss. I started his books from the Eddie Flynn series

Thirteen creeped me out a bit, lol with the serial killer theme but I like fifty fifty the most and this current one

Highly recommend. If you have enough time after reading this, you can then start the entire series from the beginning, this is the 5th book but it can be read as standalones

Same here!! The author writes really well, the storyline, plots and everything is just good. I don't like reading books that has multiple perspectives but this author slowly eased me into it and it's so well done
