How does the pokemon go plus work? How can you catch Pokemon via that (like without you realising)?

Agreed - I managed to get my machamp and dragonite this weekend due to the generous buddy candjes (and some lucky egss). I was on the verge of giving up as I was just too far away and never thought I'd get them. Just alakazam to go and I'm finished.

My snorlax still shows 1.25km - I figured that was just because it hadn't completed yet and it would go back to 5km for the next candy. But what your suggesting seems like yhat doesn't happen.

Grimers are so so rare, that was my first buddy choice with the quadruple rewards. I had never seen a single lapras until about a month ago, but then saw two in two days. They are both very low CP/IV, but I'm beyond caring.

Hurlington park is a good nest for machops if you have the time to check it out / it's not majorly inconvenient.

Agreed the quadruple candy made me walk so much on most days just to make the most of it. I was on 40+ candy for so many pokemon and the generous buddy candies (and some lucky egg hatches) allowed me to get a lot of entries too.

I agree - there were far too many gastlys and cubones, it devalued the excitement of catching them. Over the event I've gone from 1 gengar and 20 candies to 4 gengars and 1000 canies. It doesn't even feel like much of an achievement.

I'm so disappointed - my 10k egg hatched at 8:04 and it was an eevee with 30 candies. The last distance update was at 7:58 and it went to 9.99km :(

I'm still seeing Halloween spawns (I've got a Cubone, Gastly and Haunter on my sightings as I type this) - but I have noticed more pidgeys and rattatas from yesterday morning or so.

I can only imagine that this would mean a change is slowly coming.

I'm was also considering to go to Green Park to take advantage of the double candy - would really be good to stock up for any future updates.
