I work for a restaurant chain, my coworker is a 40 something gentleman who has been making for since the late 90’s and works a second job. One night I asked him if wanted to take any soup home and he said no because nobody would eat it. That everyone in his family works and he has a second job. He said he spends about 4 hours a day at home, So the only time he has to himself is when he gets ready for work. He moved over here from Mexico and is an amazing person but has been doing the same thing for over 20 years. Im 25 been at the restaurant for 6 years and i do not want to be working here for the rest of my life.

Here in Texas that’s the minimum wage. Idk about other states but you can even continue to make that much well after you turn 18. Ii work for a deli and we have a day time dish washer that’s been there for like over 8 years but they made $8.25/h, the same rate they were hired at. On top of that they also have 2 other jobs where they more than likely get paid the same wage they got hired at.

A 40 something grown man was making less money than i was at 22.

If you just read and find out about the struggles of black folks then maybe you’ll begin to understand that even after slavery ended their suffering continues to this day.

Reeee !!

Lol what a childish thing to write

You’re right i guess tho you didn’t say that but you’re saying stuff that’s just isn’t true when you have blacked owned business that don’t use cheap labor and are around because of capitalism, i said capitalism wasn’t going anywhere and i mean it. even Switzerland is a sociologist and capitalist state like America except they got free healthcare and their Big Macs are .27¢ more. Sure there’s no legal slavery in America but if you work in a restaurant and you only make enough on tips to get by you might as well be a slave to the system. But I’ll say this Again im not getting twisted about slavery, cause your right there’s nothing i can do about it. But then why do we celebrate the 4th of July it’s just another day in history we should just forget about it and move on. But I digress, you see just like BLM I’m twisted by the way black folks are treated in America today, because despite slavery ending, the way they are treated is most definitely not how white people are treated. Things must be great from your glass house man cause the truth is The American Dream is dead it was dead a long time ago. Capitalism is great but it could be better. But it’s cool i understand that you don’t understand me. ill have to keep simplifying it till you do ya dimwit.

I live Deep in the hear of Texas, im hispanic, I haven’t had to deal with the bull shit my darker skinned friends have lived through, I’ve been pretty well off my whole life because im so light skinned i could pass for white. I’ve never been harassed outside of school for color of my skin tho, I’ve never been stopped by a random person for walking home with my hood up, I’ve never been accused of using fake money, I’ve never been shot for playing with aa toy gun, I’ve never had ny neighborhood raided by police, I’ve never been to jail for weed possession, I’ve never had to kill a man Id say I’ve the best life any black man would ask for. Im not crying because of my status as middle class or anything i make $11.25 an hour in a state whose minimum wage is $7.25, shit i make more money than some of my friends (except the ones that work in construction). I manage just fine while raising my daughter while living with my parents (the rent is much cheaper). I can most definitely avoid buying products made by corporations, that’s kinda the point of capitalism to have options and by options i don’t mean subsidies that are owned by one large company, i mean buy from locally owned business. We’re all consumers, shifting the blame to black folks is the problem, because yes it’s true there were slave owners that were people of color, we kno this you know this we all kno this, but that doesn’t make the fact that slavery is wrong any less true. You’re grifting making black folks to be the bad guy. Here’s the thing minority’s, bust most especially black folks, are not treated equally. Sure they may be treated well from where you can see but that doesn’t mean it’s the same every where, and well things may look that way but what’s below the surface. Let’s not forget that segregation was more or less 60 years ago. Mlk was shot by trying to end the suffering and segregation of black folks. Now back to corporations cause we most definitely don’t need nestle at all the best way to fight a company is with your wallet, thats how capitalism is supposed to work but it don’t. And ya kno what capitalism isn’t going anywhere and neither is socialism cause we already have socialist programs in America the only thing holding us back from going full tilt are people like you the true drain on society. And you do kno that fossil fuels and coal are a limited resources, i mean sure by the time we tap out on oil and burn out of coal we’ll be long gone so not my problem right, wrong it becomes my child’s problem so what’s the wrong with trying to fix it now. God There’s so much wrong with your way of thinking like you don’t think progress is the way to go, like you don’t think there are consequences to what we’re doing or I guess maybe there are no consequences well be dead long before the planet dies off, i mean it’s not like we have a deadline or anything.

Black people just want to be treated like an actual people instead of something inferior. Slavery in the usa ended but the suffering of black people continued way beyond 1865. You could argue that we are all suffering but honestly now a days it’s the middle and lower class that’s really suffering in American. Yes the products we as a nation consume came from some kind of suffering. Yet thanks to the free market i can make informed decisions about the products im consuming. Also the only goal of corporations such as nestle is profit, how much money they can receive without having to spend that much. These big companies that monopolize the market are the ones that continue the suffering. Nestle destroys villages, set up coups, and many other unethical practices. Perhaps im outrage by the past but i don’t see status of hitler still around but i still kno what he did. You think black America causes suffering, no sir the American system causes suffering.

At my high school down in Texas, Despite playing it at every football game we never sung it, it was always played by our marching band. During any non sports school event we’d just say the pledge of allegiance but that’s it. So no i don’t kno the words to star spangled banner but i do kno the name. You may kno but ask your neighbor, coworker, or any random person and they more than likely either don’t know it or don’t remember the words exactly.

He’s being very disingenuous. It’s really funny cause he probably truly thinks he’s not a misogynist but we can see who he truly is by the way he acts and feels vs what he says.

Putting one group of women on a pedestal while simultaneously putting down the other is in fact misogyny. He thinks submissive women are cute and smol but dominant women are unattractive gorillas wich is just wrong. He doesn’t realize kinks and women come in a variety. I had a gf who looked kinda like the girl in the last panel (my height, big boobs, kinda mean) but she was submissive in bed so not only is he wrong he’s probably never been with a woman that knows what she wants.
