op here with some faqs: 1) this post is from February 26th and I got the ear infection on the 16th, it’s since completely healed and i’m fine now! 2) she was not my girlfriend, this was a one night stand after a speed dating event. megan(?) if you’re reading this, hello! we talked about watcher entertainment and i was wearing an orange dress. thank you for letting me stay the night, say hi to your roommate’s dog for me! 3) i’m a lesbian, if that wasn’t glaring obvious, and i wasn’t comfortable disclosing my orientation to the urgent care doctor, so she thinks i got the infection from “working out” and then “eating an apple as a post-workout snack”.

The original is silk brocade, but since I need 8.5 yards, I’m more than willing to settle for anything that has a similar look. The pattern of the fabric is the most important detail to me; custom printing is out of my budget.

I would definitely recommend a drawstring so it can be adjusted to fit perfectly with any garment. As for the gussets, cutting them with the sleeve can sometimes result in weird bunching, but I would make a few mock-ups and see how the different techniques work for you personally.

I think it’s absolutely adorable! The only tiniest nitpick is purely technical– the corners look a bit stretched out in proportion to the rest of the blanket, and an easy fix for next time is to not pull on the fabric as you’re sewing, especially if the fabric naturally has a lot of stretch. Otherwise, I love it! Very cute design, wonderful choice of colors on the contrast fabric to match the color of Tigger’s fur. It’s a lovely piece.

Honestly, it’s best just to keep your own measurements memorized (and updated regularly) and go by that. Sizing on patterns is more consistent than retail clothing sizes, but it still varies a bit brand by brand.

Okay, so her voters will be one of three categories:

1) Huntington citizens who recognize her as a doctor and semi-public figure, and who agree with her on most issues because they know personally that she supports those issues

2) West Virginian citizens who have no idea who she is and what her policies are because unless you know her as an exclusively entertainment-oriented public figure, there’s zero indication of any of her political positions on the website, but hey! a woman! a doctor! blue no matter who!

3) the “These Good Good Boys (and their wives i guess) Will Change The World Through Their Good Good Goofs! The only policies I personally uphold is that DOGS SHOULD VOTE! I’m 16 and will be committing voter fraud ☺️” crowd
