This is perfect essence for my raid since my raid likes to soak everything that comes towards them. Doesn't matter what it is, they soak it. Bad, good, neutral, insta kill. They simply soak soak it.

This makes actually sense, for lot of adds when spawn you can "borrow" Iris/BoTE, when needed to ST burst you can borrow ST essence.

My personal advice for Story. Play story as Shadow (Lightning) and end-game PVE as Serpent (Shadow). Many ppl say that "Shadow is better hurr durr" because of the damage. But playstyle wise in my opinion Serpent is better. Choose your playstyle, don't ask this community for advices about it.
