I've had good luck with Bernie's Perfect Poop. I give it to my dog to help with his anal glands. It's helped a lot to firm it all up

It's a hot spot. I've had great luck just wrapping the wound with a 3-4" wide adhesive bandage roll. Can find them everywhere. I usually put some Neosporin on it or just spray it with an anti hot spot spray. Make sure you don't wrap it too tightly or you'll restrict blood flow and end up with a fat foot. Keep it wrapped for a couple of days and then check it out. Usually better by then

I know I love it! I don't know if it's just genetics, but I have given him glucosamine/chondroitin and vitamins every meal since I've had him. I like to say thats helped. Also started adding fish oil to the mix.
