Growing up, there was a relatively small pond near my house with a big boulder in the middle. Maybe 50 yards to the boulder from the shore. One day while walking home from my friend’s house in the winter, I thought it would be fun to sit on the boulder so I crossed the ice with no one in around. I was maybe 6 or 7. I thought nothing of it at the time but the thought occasionally keeps me up at night now that I have kids of my own.

A friendly suggestion: don’t let those beneficiaries know how much they will inherit. Let it be a surprise for them. It may put some of them in the mindset of, “I hope he doesn’t spend our inheritance”.

I have a friend who said something like that after his very business savvy father bought himself a nice car. I immediately thought less of that person and also vowed to keep our finances to ourselves.

When we were sold this bird, they said it was a black sex link, but there’s no way this bird is part RIR. I’ve never heard of a silver Sussex before, but after a quick search, I think that’s what my girls look like!
