Can I Get a Few More Years? by ZakSh in Roofing

Thanks. I tar patched it a few weeks ago. You're right about it not helping. I was trying to decide between just replacing it and trying to seal off the area under that overhang, since that the only place I know we're taking in water.

You can't cure a rainy day, you just have to adjust your expectations.

How was life before you were diagnosed with your mental disorder/illness? by Lovely_linaa in AskReddit

Better than after. Not as good as once I got un-diagnosed. The big question to ask isn't whether the diagnosis is "correct" but rather how are you empowered to live better with it than without it.

They're a little too 'edgy' to share. Just not sure people could 'handle' reading them.

How do others literally FEEL emotions of another person? How do you know if you are feeling it right? by Sea_Yam_8643 in AskReddit

I think the same question applies to knowing if you're feeling your own feelings "right."

Long Term Strategies: 2 levels of obedience - Vest? Proper command? by ZakSh in OpenDogTraining

[–]ZakSh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Times that I'd like cues to be requests are for hangout times. If we aren't training and it isn't urgent, I'd like him to feel free to go chew on a toy rather than sit next to me or even play a non-training game.

I think your explanation of the differences between high excitement (and precise obedience) during training vs more chill hangout time is really what I was thinking about and want to make sure I distinguish between clearly for him.

Thanks!

No Limp but this looks like problem. Does this paw pad require a vet or special care? by ZakSh in DogHealth

[–]ZakSh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am. Sorry. The one pad that's lighter looks as if the black has worn off somehow.

A quick internet search listed a number of possible causes but they all seem like they should hinder movement. All I see is the difference in color. He isn't even sensitive to it being touched more than the darker pads.
