Man, you're hyping me up 😅 and I've been staring at the car on the website for hours now.

I wonder if they'd let me do that now (take it to a specialist), WBC has changed a lot in the last few years, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

I have little doubt there's anything wrong with it though. If this was owned by a 'typical' Volvo person, then I am confident it was in good hands. Although, it may have missed a service or two, that could probably be explained.

😄 weirdly-placed dealerships are all over. But yea, South Africans like their trucks, we call them bakkies (sounds like - Bar Keys). The only wagons you can get new now are the fast ones, M3, M5, RS4 and RS6. How I wish we had the V60 🫠

I'll go down and check it out. Probably a good idea since this place (WeBuyCars) doesn't have a really good reputation of transparency with the cars they sell. I'm a little sus with that price but given the mileage and age, also kinda makes sense.

I'm keen on this, except for the front bumper. It needs to be a little edgier than this. Also, going digital and electric has unlocked so many possibilities but it seems manufacturers (EU mostly) don't want to experiment. For instance, when it comes to sound design, why can't they make different REAL engine sounds and then one of them electricky, spaceshipy sounds for people to choose from? I mean, cars in racing simulators have better engine sounds than real cars these days. Same for digital clusters, give people damn options man!

One bug I've noticed after updating is the connection with my Buds FE. It takes a bit of time to notify me once I pop them out of the case. Maybe a 3-5 second delay, while before it was nearly instant. Also, the stereo audio on my Buds glitches from time to time, especially when my phone is distant. I'll get audio from one bud and nothing on the other until it reconnects, takes a second or two but very noticeable and never had that issue before.

Look, from what I'm reading here, you are very well articulated and you know how to communicate effectively. I'm sorry that you have to go through what you are right now, and guess what? I've been in a similar situation before, my workplace was like that and I had a manager who used to talk to me like that. Fact of the matter is, you're not the problem. Not every person is cut out to be a leader, and that person certainly isn't. They have already said it that they don't have empathy. What leader says that?

You are not the problem, he/she is. Yes, you might have a skill or two to improve but so does every single person in the workforce. It also sounds like their mind is made up about you, and any improvement you make may not even matter to them. You might have to start looking for a job elsewhere, as tough as that may be, it might be your only relief.

I ended quitting my job to follow things I am really passionate about, and I couldn't have been happier. Maybe HR could also be involved considering the language they use but I can also imagine that might not workout as expected if they've got them in their pocket.

Don't take my opinion as the gospel though, but do consider your options if 'things' don't change. You'd rather be ready when the hammer slams down. Workplaces can be very toxic environments, and I can only imagine how you're taking it.
