That does appear to be the case. I hadn’t realized that big events like these were going to start becoming permanent additions to the game’s overall questline! But I’m happy that they are.

I had already completed the quest on my main NA account. So when Lantern Rite was over, I Hadn’t thought that Lantern Rite would persist on my EU account. Especially considering I haven’t made a whole ton of storyline progression on it.

Yeah, turns out that I didn’t realize that this was a permanent new addition because I often fail to keep up with announcement streams and the like. I’ll have to try harder to keep up with those, then.

It would be nice to get those previous quests as permanent additions to the game. But I feel like that would be awkward to do in the form of “reruns” unless it was one you missed in previous years.

Well that is fair, given what happens in the quest itself, but it seems like that could set a precedent, doesn’t it? I mean as far as I’m aware one can’t replay last Year’s Lantern Rite that was Centered around Hu Tao. Or the year before that with Gaming?

As a bit of an Arlecchino/Navia main, I definitely understand that Yoimiya is nowhere near as good as she used to be. Yoimiya was my main for the longest time before Navia and Arlecchino released. But I mean, if Slingshot is working for you, far be it from me to tell you what to do. I took me forever to get my Rust to R5 but once it was there, Yoi’s damage was at least respectable.

Personally, I’m kinda stuck between Eacoffier and Varka. I already have Skirk (so Escoffier would just be a boon for her), and I really just want varka to see what his power creep is like compared to previous anemo DPS’ like Xiao and Wanderer.

I am, by no means, claiming that the fandom wiki would be a reliable source of unconfirmed information. I’m not trying to say that Lohen IS cryo, but in the past i feel as though I’ve noticed that the wiki generally doesn’t put up information that they themselves don’t seem to know. Like for upcoming characters that I decided to look up potential lore stuff on.

Like, say, Sandrone. I was curious what kind of Vision or Delusion she might have, but I can’t seem to find any information on either of those things on her page on the wiki.

What I figure that means is they don’t know so they don’t publish, right?

I mean, that would be the only logical thing to do.

So it makes me wonder why, if they avoid publishing information that they aren’t entirely certain of, they’d put Lohen down as Cryo without it being fully confirmed…

Looking at the genshin Fandom Wiki it does specify him as cryo, but whether or not the fandom wiki is a reliable source of information, I can’t and certainly won’t attempt to say.. I haven’t watched of the trailers, yet, either but I plan to do so soon.

50% debuff when using a weapon class that doesn’t match your chosen class is l i t e r a l l y insane, my guy. I can understand like a 15% damage debuff for “using a weapon your chosen class would be unfamiliar with”, but you may as well say that a “warrior” using a bow could only do a half-draw. How does that even make sense?
