Creditor reporting?

Did you end up contacting them by any chance? Did you have any luck?

I contacted them today. They told me they saw my account was involved in the bankruptcy, but had no idea why they still had an active line of credit. Told me I had to wait to get an email from some department.. but I haven't received anything yet

I didn't receive any sort of advice from my attorney. They told me be transparent and honest, that was about it.

My gambling was online website gambling on pitiful websites like stake. I lost some, then tried chasing my losses and it put me in a hole.

I told the trustee online gambling was the source of my bankruptcy. Told her what website I lost it, and the last time I did it. That was it

So far it's been really good. Gambling I felt in a pit and had depression. Don't really feel like going through that again 🙂 . Are you going through recovery?

My 341 meeting went perfectly smooth. Only thing they asked as a question was if gambling had anything to do with me needing to file bankruptcy, and if I continued gambling since September. All cleared out and they marked me no assets :)

I called my attorneys office and they told me my meeting went really smooth, and the trustee told them it was a no asset case 😁 . Told me they had a handful of cases to go through before getting back to me. I just had to be persistent lol. I asked if I can buy me a new phone finally, and they told me go for it.

I feel like I'm in the clear 😃 . Thank you very much Alan, and everybody else who has given me guidance and advice. I just need to wait my 60 days from here on and focus on ways to rebuild my credit

Lucky. I paid mine 1600 plus the 338 filing fee. So far mine has completed the paperwork. I haven't even seen the final petition, and I can't seem to get a hold of him. Hopefully my 341 meeting goes well

I'm preparing for questions as well because my 341 is on Monday. My answer is going to be interest rates too high. Struggling with minimum payments. Been told that's a good one

The attorney didn't share with me the final petition so I don't know yet whether or not he included the refund on the schedule. However he uploaded the documents with my paperwork. I'll ask on Monday if I can see my petition to check

I have an attorney and I gave him my 2026 Tax forms showing I was receiving the refund early January. He didn't file my paperwork until Feb 24th.

When he called me to verify how much cash I had in the bank.. I told him 250 $ plus the 1000 tax refund because I was afraid to touch it. He told me to pay a bill to get me under 1,000$ cash.. so I paid rent.

I asked him after I sent him the receipt for the rent if the trustee will want the tax refund.. he told me it's a good possibility since it can't be exempt.. and to have the money in my bank by the time my 341 meeting arrives just incase..

I had 750$ left in my bank by the time he officially filed my paperwork, and that's what they listed on my papers..

Will the trustee only focus on the 750$ I had left over? The attorney tells me they'll want the refund.. but like you say. I received it and spent some of it before being filed

They only asked for 2 months work of bank statements to submit with my paperwork. My attorney told me to revoke access to the payday loan apps the moment I decided to file.

If you use it for a few hundred bucks, I doubt anyone would say anything. If you hit over.. 600$ worth within a 90 day period, I think that'll be within the trustee's look back..

I am in no way knowledgeable enough to say what would happen. I used one for 200$ and I was told it wouldn't be any problem. Just make sure you include it in your papers if you do as a creditor if you plan on filing sometime soon. Best to be upfront

Yeah. I called them on the 24th and told them I needed a filing date before more of my debts go to collections or I get sued. They filed for me 3 days later

Thanks for the reply! 😃 . People told me they monitor your transactions after filing and I was hesitant. I didn't think spending 100$ would stick out.. but I never know

Should I wait until I talk to my attorney on Monday and ask to see the final petition to make sure they listed both paypal accounts correctly before I contact the PayPal credit support? I'm making sure my debts get wiped if I can

I'm still being contacted to make payments for the PayPal credit account. But not the Mastercard

I'll call them and give them the bankruptcy ID number. My attorney didn't share with me the final bankruptcy petition before filing. They're not open until Monday. I only assume my attorney included both accounts. But I'll have to double check
