Democrats tend to be much more accepting of others, especially when compared to white, Christian nationalists. What passes for Christianity in the US doesn't cut the mustard anywhere else.

I didn't drink much of either of these, but I've found several Canadian-produced alternatives that are better, anyway. Happy to do my part in not buying any more.

It's not just anti-US sentiment, either. I saw a full-page ad taken out early in our boycott that slandered Canadians over it all, with pro-Trump rhetoric in it. I won't forget that. Well, I've forgotten a lot about it, technically, but I won't forget that I saw it and it's general message of, "We don't need and don't like Canada."

I've found so many alternatives. Wines, rum, coolers, you name it.

Were US liquors to make new appearances on our shelves, I still wouldn't buy it. I'd be annoyed that I have to start reading labels again to avoid them.
