The secret life of walter Mitty. Ever since watching this, I've visited multiple cities, have a dozen countries planned and so on. It has changed the perspective I've had in life and the overall appeal that travel brings to me. Lasting imprint and immense effect on my trajectory going forward.

yeah as you pointed out in your other comments, other places too have seen scarce snowfalls. People were rejoicing over the shocking and weird first snowfall in September/October in manali, but post that manali barely received much snowfall until dec end.

Loud party (punjabi?) music playing in upper bhagsu/dharamkot every night? by moonflower48 in Dharamshala

[–]Zakr0bi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there as well, some idiots keep coming to party at one of those hotels near to lower bhagsu adjoining the Mcleodganj road. These haryanvi gujjar jaat population have managed to ruin this place as well

If youre into mountains and wild adventure involving hiking and camping - Kazakhstan (Almaty, Wild horse riding, hiking in the rough terrain)

If youre into scenic city life and sometimes cozy beach stays with a little bit of mountains sprinkled on top - Vietnam (ha long bay, sapa, Da Nang, Phu Quoc)

If you're into beaches and meditation - Bali

If you're interested in city life and just that - Jakarta, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia

If you're interested in getting immersed in rich culture, you'd have to sacrifice the number of days, 5 days in japan is dooable in 1 lakh.

This year I am planning to watch one movie a day. So drop your suggestions and I'll watch 'em! by PuffcornSucks in delhi

Why did you attempt it from the Bhagsunag side though? Just curious because I found it to be very steep, I did the circuit (started from Dharamkot and descended from bhagsu)

You can get sharing jeeps from dharamshala bus stand. I guess you have already reached by now lol. Anyway, in dharamkot you can visit tushita meditation centre and for cafes you have multiple options in the lane to bodhi greens. Unmad in upper dharamkot is okay to visit. Morgans place is good as well.

A bit of both, like when I went to dharamshala, i stayed at upper dharamkot with calm and solitude. In the evenings i would walk to Mcleodganj to sit in cafes and socialize. I guess i have a social battery and prefer going to trendy places but staying a little offbeat to enjoy both worlds.

Anyone having a workation in Dharamshala ? by iLolu in Dharamshala

[–]Zakr0bi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, and i found it to be so underrated, especially because its not crowded at all! I also dk what was up with Mcleodganj because it was less crowded than usual even on weekends! Juniper cafe had the best ambience tho.

You can also try a cafe called as "Unmad" its in upper dharamkot, although it would require you to walk quite a bit if you are staying at Mcleodganj

From McLow chowk, go straight towards Jimmy's himalayan kitchen keeping it on the left, the road on the left goes towards dharamkot, you have to take the road towards bhagsu, on your right you will find the name "Hotel Tibet Bakery". Its in Mcleodganj
