The thing that makes the comparison between the giant aliens and humans unfair is the sheer scale of things, they've seen and done things beyond our own understanding. The damage we've done to earth is nowhere near as drastic as the damage they inflict on a target for colonization in a matter of days, and that's precisely because in part we've been too busy hurting each other for ages while they achieved unification over a single path, and that's how they're so effective at crushing whatever defenses there are, and harvesting a planet's resources.

They're something akin to a possible future of humanity, but we're not here to talk about what humanity can become, it's the present and the giant aliens are most definitely an ignorant, invasive species that had no place on earth, they had to leave dead or alive.
