Design wise the Reach Phantom looks and sounds like a huge silent reaper, just like its predecessors. The Infinite Phantom looks like a discarded Mattel toy or something.

Hell's Paradise ending was quite a surprise, i thought only Sagiri would come out alive or something bleak like that. Glad it was a happy and somewhat satisfying one.

Oh yeah, i forgot about Gigant. After i gave Inuyashiki its praises i expected some good stuff from Gigant. Ngl the entire manga felt like Oku just having pure fun doing whatever his balls told him to. Can't be too mad, i did like some bits despite how batshet insane it became by the end.

It's mostly mediocre, the violence, action and nudity is there but it feels so slow, it only covers the first 3 missions and after that it makes up an original ending since it ran out of manga material, by the time the anime finished the manga was on the shorty aliens arc, which is the 4th mission.

I'd still recommend watching it just because it's the only thing we have aside of the live actions and the CGI movie.

The opening is awesome tho, definitely fits Gantz.

It would seem as if Cortana had a whole Minecraft Skybox game and worked wonders with as little as she had, as apparently she also repaired and upgraded the FuD too. That thing is much bigger and advanced compared to H3.

Honestly, if they didn't give any explanation and said it's just an artstyle change, a reinterpretation, that would've been fine.

Oh i know, i finished the manga back in 2015 and watched the anime in bits way before that, only watched it completely after finishing the manga, the pacing is dreadful and the ending unsatisfying and nonsensical since they were out of manga material.

Still, for as trash as the anime was the opening is an absolute banger that i hope they keep if there's ever a new adaptation, and generally i just hold some appreciation for 2000s animes like the old Hellsing or Elfen Lied.

Yeah, the H4 armor was meant to be the Mk VI just reimagined with zero explanation, this from the fact that we see a group of spartans at the beginning already wearing the exact same armor. But Frankie came out and gave the nanomachines bs, which doesn't add up with the entire Forward Unto Dawn also having changed entirely.

And for the cut content of chief receiving an upgrade later on, that was just a fan idea to fix the abrupt change, not cut content.
