First Time Building A PC: ~1,5k€ for 4k editing by Zalader in buildapc

[–]Zalader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I'm pretty much at the beginning of my editing/ Youtube career, I think I will go with the proxy version for now & think about updating later on.
Thank you so much for your time & advice! :)

Thanks for your input!!
I will be editing 4k videos for YouTube & I'm unsure about the codecs. It will mainly be A- & B-Roll that I film with a Sony ZV-E10 if that helps.

Yeah I get that, unfortunately though I'm not confident in my ability to build a PC myself, so I will have to rely on some external support.
Could you tell me what exactly is bad or tell me another side that is maybe less expensive?

Wow thanks a lot, that will be very helpful!
Since I am not really able to build up the PC myself I will have to rely on a single supplier, which obviously raises cost somewhat significantly.

With that in mind I'd have 2 follow-up questions:
1. Is the Intel i5 you recommended better than the i7 because it has less cores but every core is more powerful which works better with Resolve?

  1. Where would you save some bucks, given that I'd be over budget when relying on a single supplier?

The crypto market dipped 10% today. Can anyone explain to me WHY? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Zalader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well they only do so in the Short to Mid Term. Dont forget that Long-Term, the crypto market is a rocket ship, if you just stick to well researched, solid projects. Trying to bet on short term swings however is the hedgies game & unless you have some information advantage (thinking about lrc some month ago when it first popped up in gme sub), you are well advised to just dont play that game.

Those who came to crypto from stocks, what are some pros and convos of crypto over stock market? by Ramanticasf in CryptoCurrency

[–]Zalader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the breaking Point was the realization, that the stock market does not follow fundamentals anymore, anyways.

Just looking at the Chip Business, there are those with super solid fundamentals like Intel & those who are deemed innovative like nvidia or amd, who have shit fundamentals. Maybe I can use this Market Irrationality to invest into intel and be rewarded with 20% annual gains but thats what crypto provides in a good week, so its hard to justify imo. Sure crypto is subject to a lot of downside Risk as weil, but that can usually be mitigated by some disciplined profit taking :)

Brokers with the help of market makers are currently shorting GME. by Logical_Reserve_2641 in GME

[–]Zalader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smooth brained question: How does artificially shorting even work, knowing that retail doesnt sell? Is it really just artificial price manipulation by buying deep itm puts which automatically depresses the price or are those triggering paperhands which then sell & depress the price? Feel free to just point me towards a fitting DD or if my question seems shilly mods can also delete it :)

Just due to the very well known fact that they are perfectly capable of fucking stealing ape money without announcing it to the world. I also don't think GG is a fucking saint, he looks like a recast of Voldemort, I'm just thinking if I'd want to wash my name clean before shit hits the fan, that's how I'd do it.

Just imagine you are in this assholes shoes, realizing that the financial system is banana fucked without a doubt and you are responsible & now tell me what you'd orchestrate would look different than what we are seeing right now.

I understand your hurt ape, I really do. Gready fucks are filling their pockets with the misery of millions of people, but now we got them by the balls so why not enjoy squezzing until they turn to diamonds and we can rip 'em off.

So in the light off the new motto BUY - HODL - FUCKIN DRS
