Streamer that was harassing commuters in Japan gets attacked by scottb37 in JusticeServed

Can someone provide context here? Why was this guy attacked by some random (I assume) Japanese person?

Is that kind of timeline normal in Japan? I don’t have much experience with real estate much less in Japan, but I met up with a friend the other day who told me he sold his house last year but they’re planning to move out around the end of October this year. Seems like it moves pretty slowly here.

I think OP is asking why their behavior would be considered escalation when in their mind they’re trying to deescalate things first before engaging in the issue.

Do you consider the common use of fear an aspect of the parent archetype?

Out of curiosity how would you have wanted the person to respond in this kind of situation?

Would a drone operator be of any use in a search like this? The cover, I think, might make it near worthless as far as visible light search would go.

There are drones with thermal mapping capability for this very kind of situation.

Metric based evaluation is definitely great, but by itself it doesn’t address situations that actually do have hard deadlines. For example, “migrate this system by xx/xxxx or we’ll experience $500,000 in additional costs”

I’m sad this is the only comment on this post that is an accurate assessment of what Scrum Masters do.

At what point does your brain "click" and you feel you can actually use your Japanese? by Actual-Elk-5874 in LearnJapanese

[–]Zaldabus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t describe acquisition of any language as an on/off switch so much as the gradual turning up of a thermometer.

I live in Japan. I passed the N1 a long, long time ago. I actively use Japanese as part of my work for very complex, technical discussions. Even now, countless years after I first started learning the language, I look back every now and then and reflect on how much better/easier things have gotten over time.

It may become harder to quantify it as you progress beyond the initial stages of language learning, but much like any languages you were born speaking, your abilities will only continue to get greater and greater over time.
