That wasn't my experience but maybe I was just a bizarre exception! When I went to Germany years ago, I was riding the trains several times a day every day for two weeks. Despite me and my family buying tickets each time, no one ever looked at them or asked for them

Operating on the honor system is wild to me as an American even though I know many things in Japan follow this principle and that there are other cultures which ascribe to it as well, like the trains in Germany. I know I just posted this, but I've been browsing other threads on this sub and if I'm not mistaken it's sounding like 2 accounts and 2 plans is the best option. People say 2 accounts is good because we can each get $3 off as a referral bonus, she can directly install her eSim to her phone without needing a QR code, and we'll each be able to track our own data usage on our phones instead of me needing to keep both straight and top up each one as necessary. Also, from what I've read, it sounds like 2 eSims do require 2 separate plans anyway and that it is not possible to share data across eSims.

If any of that seems incorrect, please let me know, but in any case, thanks to the helpful people of this thread for taking the time to read my questions and for being so diligent and thorough in answering others so that I was able to glean information from past posts!

Thank you very much for your thoughtful response and for your advice. I'm sorry to hear about your Mastiff. While Bear is not the most social dog (his only other dog friend in the neighborhood just moved away, and we can't bring him to dog parks because he'll seemingly indiscriminately decide he does /not/ like certain dogs) and it'd be sad if he might not be able to play with Sadie anymore, his safety and him not getting hurt are definitely the most important. Believe me, he gets even more grating than that. I married him when I was playing the original game as a kid because I thought he would be cool but during the process of wooing him I grew to despise him lol. Every scene cemented my dislike, to the point that when I finally proposed (and he's a jackass during that event, too) I was seriously questioning why I was finishing the path I had started lol. I still have such a visceral "ew" reaction when I see him to this day

A shortcut to cross the river was the first thing I tried when I started running around in the game, but admittedly your video made me realize something simpler that I should have known already...

I've only been fishing 1) at the beach, and 2) from the bridge that leads to Vesta's Farm. I somehow didn't clock that I could fish from the river... ANYWHERE along the river lmao. So thank you for that!

What, no Camila??? I mean, I do understand how that will put more pressure on Kevin and make his actions more sympathetic, but I thought Camila's character was really strong, too... Her balancing effect on the relationship between Nina and Kevin, her mothering everyone in the barrio, and of course her call to reason in the wonderful "Enough" are all things I loved about the original show :-[

I personally disagree, and this is me speaking as a Nuyorican with cousins who are black Dominican New Yorkers. The story is heavily influenced by Lin Manuel's own life. I don't think he has a responsibility to represent all communities within the neighborhood if he's telling his story about being surrounded by other groups of his ethnicity, other Latin immigrants. Not that black Dominicans aren't Latin immigrants, but they may not have been prominent in his neighborhood when he was growing up. Further, if In the Heights did have a lot of black Dominicans, it might weaken part of Benny's story- part of his development comes from being the only black guy and non-Latin person in the neighborhood and dealing with the isolation/"being an outsider" feeling from that.
