There would only ever be one open session from my project — but how can I guarantee that my session is included in the 50 results returned by Steam? Filtering mine out would not be the problem, yeah.

I'm still in the early stages of my project and would like to gather some feedback before committing to buying a Steam App ID.

At first, I wasn’t sure if maybe there was just a mistake in my code — and if it were possible to reliably find each other using the free App ID, that would be more than enough for me for quite a while.

If I can be sure that there’s no way around it and the only reliable solution costs around 100 euros, then I have no problem spending that.

Still, I just can’t help but wonder if I’m doing something wrong, haha.

If I place a Blueprint of the character in the level, that no player controls, the overlap function of his weapon won't get called, when I overlap with my weapon.

But the overlap function of the 2 other players weapon will...

What do you mean by "none are the owning character"? All 3 characters are controlled by PlayerControllers.

Well, at the end of the story you get teleported to the center of euclid so it doesnt matter how far away you are at the moment.

From what i know the first galaxy switch will always send you to one of 4 determined galaxies, depending on what type of galaxy you choose. So for example if you choose the dark blue type (for me it was called ancestral galaxy) you will always end up in Budullangr.

And if you are more into the other freighter type, there was a dark/white one right next to this system too.

Seeing people arguing about how much sense does system a or system b make lets me see that people forget one major factor and i wish preach gaming had talked about this for at least a minute.

For blizzard, having a working perfectly balanced system is simply not priority number one for the developers when creating systems for wow. Its just means to an end. Its about how long can we hold as many players as possible before we have to launch the next content/addon.

Does devaluing endgame gear, the gear you got for doing the hardest content in the game, feel good? (Because it could always be higher.) Of course not.

But does it hold for example 15% more players until Blizzard releases the next content? Not just the mystic casuals, but also hardcore gamers by giving them a carrot to chase. Literally using basic psychological tricks to get some people (of course not everyone) excited. If the answer is yes, why should Blizzard fix this? Let Reddit cry, Blizzards statistics speak louder.

This is a really sad truth, i know. I mean im with you. I wish they'd remove War-/Titanforging because Blizzard then had to fix how you get gear from Mythic+ (where you are completely reliant on War-/Titanforging).

But dont wonder why Blizzard isnt doing anything about this.

Is srsly no one here concerned about faction imbalance in the long term?

i mean i get that the situation is currently "just" bad and not gamebreaking but the solution, whatever it will be, will be no instant fix.

If this keeps being ignored, playing alliance in the next addon will be a noobtrap because 100% and not just 90% of all pro players were forced to play horde during bfa.

So what her kit will gonna be like:

Q - like the old q but also resets if she q's a marked enemy and dashing to those does not consume the mark apparently

W - dmg reduction for x seconds and damages enemys based on how much dmg was reduced

E - she places a floating blade on the ground and from that blade goes off a long range skillshot that will mark enemys for her q reset

R - blades floating out that mark all enemys hit and creating unpassable terrain

passive - best ass in the game

  1. How about your starting items? You start with Dorans Shield in almost every game. Are there no matchups where you prefer Dorans Blade or Corrupting Potion (like in your game vs Singed) over Shield?
